Oh well then maybe he could get to be the new head of the IRS like Obama did with tax cheat Timothy Geithner when he made him Secretary of Treasury.

The "feds" still have a lot of influence. Especially in New York.

Your criminal IMPOTUS is far from being a first time offender since he has paid a great many FINES in the past for his transgressions of the law.

Secondly there would be a CONFLICT of INTEREST if one of his appointees were to make any such ruling which would result in opening themselves up to impeachment and removal from whatever bench they are on.

Finally there would be Dem DOJ at that stage which means that they would be opposing all such petitions with BOTH the FACTS and the LAW on their side to DEFEAT any partisan hack appointed by him.

If he ACTUALLY did something criminal do you think there is ANY conceivable way on god’s green earth that the democrats wouldn’t use that right now in an impeachment effort? Get serious.

Lol good luck with that after 4.5 more years of Trump.

Why would the Dems waste their time knowing that the GOP senate will just kiss your criminal IMPOTUS's yuuuuuge orange again?

And if you erroneously believe that your Covidiot-in-Chief has done nothing criminal there is this bridge in Brooklyn that I can sell you, only one owner and reduced to a special price just for his supporters.

    What is this some kind of Mock SNL { Saturday Night Live }
    script up for possible review.
Don't be goofy. There is a Very serious CRIMINAL Investigation underway
by our AG and U.S. Attorney John Durham. That explains CNN and
MSNBC darlings James Comey and John Brennan. Not seen or heard
from since the Pandemic scare broke wide open.
Because we have Newly Released Documents Proving that as early as
January of 2017 the FBI Knew that General Flynn was Not a Russian
Agent. And that Susan Rice as well knew of it.And that meant Barack Obama.
Plus Joe Biden.Who conspired before Trump was Inaugurated to concoct
a narrative to make them seem kosher.Like they had nothing to do with
any - Russian Collusion - Mueller Special Counsel Hoax.

These prosecutions will go after the Trump family and the Trump campaign as well as Donald and build their cases from the bottom up, from the outside inwards. It may end up being a race to the DA's office for a deal that determines whether Trump himself has a case brought against him. In the end, Donald Trump might be asked to decide whether he wants to cut a deal and cop a plea, to minimize legal risk to his son, his daughter, and his son in law from prosecution and jail time.

Can't believe Dems/Liberals/Progressives are prepared to break into a dance at the chance a nearly 80 year old man might spend a couple of years in jail (at most).

Oh for crying out loud. Trump is a freaking animal. You expect me to idolize him the way Dems do Obama or even Clinton?

He's damn lucky I support him due to his policies and the idiocy of his opposition.

No. You support him because you are conservative. NOBODY is ultimately not worth supporting if they aren't 'liberal'. That is the difference between you and me. If Trump were a completely amoral scumbag liberal, destroying the moral and political fabric underlying the national government, I'd vote for a conservative to get him out of office. Its just not worth it, just to get a tax policy, some judges I like and stop conservative initiatives.

The closest recent comparison on the left, would have to be Marion Barry, mayor of Washington DC and I would never ever have voted for that man past his first term regardless of circumstance, the difference being that Barry was too fond of cocaine and alcohol compromising his moral code, while Trump is too fond of himself and his self aggrandizement, compromising his moral code.

No policy initiative is worth throwing away every last shred of values that underlie the compact between the citizen and his government.

I'm pushing into my 50s. I spent decades hoping for a conservative who

    1) Represented my personal values.
    2) Was committed to advancing the conservative policies I believe in.
    3) Had the political skills to repeatedly win election and then to bring about those policies.

That is never going to happen. I've found that out the hard way. So if I have to compromise, I'll give away #1 in exchange for #2 & #3.
