Women should dress how they want.

But they should expect unwanted attraction from men when they dress in tight clothes or show a lot of skin. Men are visually stimulated. Its a biological reality that no amount of henpecking or protest is going to change.

To be clear, that doesnt mean men have a 'right' to rape or get handsy or expect a positive response to their attraction... The woman has every right to tell an interested man to get lost, and men should be expected to maintain control of themselves even when attracted or aroused. But the attraction *will* happen, and expecting otherwise is either ignorant or unreasonable.

The libs claim that a man whistling at a woman is sexual assault. Seems fair that women dressing provocatively is also sexual assault on men.

When the libs go to ridiculous extremes, then expect to get ridiculous responses.

It is true that you will be judged by what you wear so let's not pretend it's not so, also for men. However let's be clear a woman dressed provocatively is not looking for rape, she is looking for attention. Trump's pastor obviously has control issues... I suggest he sings the national anthem repeatedly in his head when he sees a woman who turns him on...clearly for him being turned on is a sin in direct conflict with his deep religious beliefs, where sex is missionary with the lights out.

Having said that for me the "what" depends on the where and when, like this evening gown I would so wear it to the right occasion... only marginally less revealing than the dress below it which falls into "hell no". Despite similarities they send a different message, women are not oblivious to these messages...

dress for success, and yes, dressing the part makes a difference, dress professional, not sexual

I no more what to see men in thongs then women, just not professional in the workplace

if you think it will make others in the workplace uncomfortable, be you a man or women, prob best to choose a different outfit

I think a man whistling is uncomfortable to others and changes the way they feel, yes it's free speech, but just like dressing a certain way can get you negative responses, so can that

I also think a women would have a right to be uncomfortable around a man dressing sexual in the workplace, grabbing his balls, ect, sure it's his body, but certain actions make people uncomfortable and are inappropriate in the workplace (most anyways, you work at some places it's also required) time and place

how about someone like weinstien wore a tight outfit that showed ever time he got a hard on, should women be told to not say anything, to not feel uncomfortable, it's them not him and they need to get there emotions in check

I think many are right on both sides, it's not sexual assault, but it is sexual, the question is, is advertising for sex in the workplace appropriate, be it a man or a women

I would be too afraid of sneezing to wear either outfit. Reminds me of the joke about the Ritz. One evening they were very short of wait staff and the only applicant they could get normally worked in the local diner. Everything was going well until one of the female diners leaned forward and her boob fell into the soup. Quick as a wink the waiter picked it up wiped it off and helped her slide her boob back into her dress. The maitre d was furious. " How dare you". The waiter looked puzzled "what could I do I could not leave it like that"
"No but this is the Ritz! Here we use a warmed serving spoon!!!!"

Maybe Mr. Pastor gets confused by the little woody in his pantaloons he gets from seeing a woman's ankles.

It's normal in our society to mock male sexuality.

Here's a thought experiment for women. Suppose there exists some magical thing that your husband could say or do that instantly arouses 95% of women around him, and suppose he's totally oblivious to this ability of his. From his perspective, this magical thing is completely innocent.

How would it make you feel if he keeps doing it? And if you voice your concern, how would it make you feel if he gets mad and accuses you of trying to control him?

as much so as a women should be able to control their reaction to being interviewed by Weinstin in a tight speedo... .but they should not have to be subjected to that in the work place, nor should men have to be subjected to women being sexual in the work place

there are certain things that make many uncomfortable in the workplace, I don't think just blaming the one feeling uncomfortable is the proper solution

heck, I would feel uncomfortable around a co-workers that had his pants down below his underwear like some do nowadays, clothes do mater in the work place

I woudl be uncomfortable around this too in the workplace

would it be appropriate to wispier the same to a women coworker showing her underwear that - I think it should be reported and let management handle it in both instances - if they want to do it off work time, more power too them, just not appropriate for the work environment - saying something like that woudl be like whistling, inappropriate

Sorry but it already happens. Power and money are strong aphrodesiacs for some. So if we are going to play " goose and gander". If women cannot dress provocatively around men then men should not be allowed to accrue money and power

not the same thing at all, but to your point, they should not be able to shower women they are sexually attracted to at work with gifts to flirt with them, work is not for finding a sexual mate, it's for working

I have to agree with the comic who said " now I know why you girls never smile You are walking around with wedgies". But in all seriousness the real problem stems from sex in advertising. Kids are bombarded day in day out with messages about sexualisation and normalisation of these behaviours

I agree with that too, for both the men and women, but in the end, they should know it's not appropriate for the work place, both men and women again

part of the problem is we only want to be seen as sexual by certain people, but the advertisement goes out to everyone, when they bite, you have to deal with the catch and then release if not the fish you wanted

most do not want to deal with this in the workplace

Depends on the workplace. As a nurse my profession is one of the most conservative. Or at least it used to be. Now women come to work with brightly coloured hair. Both men and women have tattoos showing and runners are acceptable footwear
