If Dr. King was alive today the same folks who hate Pres. Obama would hate him as well. Also a lot of folks didn't vote or support Pres. Obama because he was black. Not sure how right wingers seem to think Dr King would be a boot licker if he was alive today.

Yup. Biden and Clinton put a generation of young black men behind bars.

PARTY OF OLD WHITE MEN: Surging Biden ‘in the driver’s seat,’ 14-point 2020 lead over Sanders.

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s recent hints about entering the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries have helped to rocket him into the lead, further breaking away from Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and former first lady Michelle Obama in a big way, according to a new poll.

The latest Zogby Analytics Poll shows the former Delaware senator doing 50 percent better than Sanders, the 2016 Democratic runner-up to Hillary Clinton, who lost to President Trump.

“Biden’s in the driver’s seat! Biden is the favorite, even with Michelle Obama in the race; Sanders in second place,” said the poll analysis provided to Secrets.

Among Democrats, Biden has 31 percent to 17 percent lead in the 2020 horse race poll. Among all Democratic primary voters, including independents, his lead is 27 percent to 18 percent for Sanders.

When Obama was added into the poll of all Democratic primary voters, Biden maintained his lead at 25 percent to 17 percent for Obama. With her in the survey, Sanders sunk to 12 percent.

No other Democrat registered double digits, even those who’ve announced such as California Sen. Kamala Harris, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, or New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.
Of the 410 likely Democratic voters surveyed, only one chose Clinton ally and former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

    Ouch.

Biden would be about 10 billion times better than Bernie or Michelle O. Holy hell can you imagine Bernie or Michelle O as president :omg: Maybe I should register as a Democrat so I can vote in their primary. Hmm....

Only a hard core Trumpster would believe anything so obviously ridiculous.

A Presidential candidate running on race baiting and governing on the same "principle"?

I'm sure that MLK would have heard the echoes of George Wallace, Lester Maddox and Strom Thurmond in Trump's vicious rhetoric, and he would recognize that many of the Trumpsters are the sons and daughters of the same bigots he confronted (after all, they use almost the exact same language).

I'm not sure why you posted this, except possibly to entertain us with yet another example of the way right wing trash media tried to invert reality.

You slather us with quotes from a proclimation that Trump didn't actually read, or have read.

You talk about him signing the prison reform bill, although he made it pretty obvious that the only reason he even though about it was because it was his daughter's cause.

And you deliberately tried to gloss over the fact taht Trump did a drive by on MLK day and disappeared just as quickly.

    From your own post:

"The president and vice president, who were joined by Acting Interior Secretary David Bernhardt, spent roughly two minutes at the site before returning to the White House."

Of course, when you get your "news" from trash blogs like tthe Examiner, you would be fooled into believing taht Trump actually made a big deal of MLK day.

Or maybe, you're still naive enough to believe that you can repost this trash in the thought that anyone else beside yourself might be fooled.

You don't think he'd support record low unemployment for African-Americans? Or the criminal reform bill, undoing the damage Biden, Clinton and the Dems gave us?

Why would he hear the echos of Dems in Trump's comments?

Very good idea. Democrats may need a helping hand, selecting the best nominee. This is very important. We should all help them get this right.
