Most of his EO's have been undoing what 16 years of Obama and Bush screwed up. So let's join hands and sing Kumbaya.

I don't have a problem with this. The more time he's out of the WH, the less damage he can do. He should pitch a tent at the 1st tee.

Sound reasoning if that's your slant. I used to get P.O.ed when Moosechelle would take AF1 without the President. What's the point of spending all that money while Obama mucked things up?

For starters, AF1 is whatever plane the president is on. If he is not on a plane, it is not AF1.

Second, when did this ever happen?

So perhaps he should be spending his time trying to fill the empty slots?

Trump is WAY behind in nominating, much less confirming, the top level of appointees:
    http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/trump-reality-promises-235198

Trump has appointed just three of the 15 required deputy secretary Cabinet positions; fewer than 40 of the 700 key administration jobs requiring Senate confirmation have been filled.

The National Security Council hasn't even MET yet.

Why is Trump playing golf when he has HUNDREDS of key appointments to make? Not to mention a budget to craft, legislation to present to Congress, etc.

To echo TFM, I have no issue with a president playing golf. I have no issue with him wanting to go home now and then and get out of the White House.

But the hypocrisy is disgusting. Trump routinely criticized Obama for golfing and taking trips to Hawaii or Chicago. Now his own travel is costing the taxpayers 10 times as much, and he is golfing more.

And the defenses of it by his supporters are lame and/or hypocritical as well.

Well it might not have been the one with the red launch button but Boeing 757's at Andrews AFB used for government officials are about as expensive.:roflol:

I honestly expected the exact opposite from Trump, I would have thought he wouldn't have left the WH for anything other than official business so this is a bit of a surprise on my end.

not that i'm losing sleep over it, nor can I do jack crap about it, so whatever, but I expected the new POTUS to be a workaholic for the first 6 months and the AF1 to not leave the hanger during that period of time except to get some softer towels installed.

So when did it happen? When did Michelle take a 757?

She did it a few times, when she was traveling with a large delegation for some reason.

Just like any government official, you use the plane that best meets the needs of that particular trip. So most of the time Michelle flew in a small Gulfstream jet, but sometimes a 757 (or rather, the Air Force equivalent) was used.

I believe she used a 757 on one of her Africa trips. It was necessary both for the distance of the flight and the length of the trip, and the need to bring along enough security and staff for the duration.

What people don't seem to realize is that the First Lady is required to fly on military aircraft for security reasons. It's not her choice. Unless they think she should be a prisoner in the White House, she has to fly frequently.

You may not like the answer, he's had more companies agree to stay in America before he even took the oath than Pinocchio did in 8 years. By the way he's been on the job for a little over 30 days.

A president doesn't have to be in the WH to conduct business as we have learned with a pen and phone.:roflol::roflol::roflol:

So after working 75-80 hours during the week, he plays a round of golf with the Japanese Prime Minister, where more important diplomacy took place.

You haters really need to get a life. Yapping on like rabid dogs in these shallow attacks only undermines what little credibility you have left.

Not sure you read my post, I didn't mention Democrats and it was aimed at Mr. Mello Guy. My point was the President has done more before his election is all. Think.

Obama can't be seen on the golf course, only Trump can be seen on the golf course. White privilege, and all that.

Got any documentation for this? I'm pretty sure you don't.

And since when is playing golf on a Saturday or Sunday considered a "vacation"? Put a lot of thought into this, I see.
