LOL...Brennan is hardly some former aid or staff member. He's a former head of the CIA using his security clearance to keep himself relevant
as a anti Trump propagandist for CNN and whoever would stick a mic in front of his scowling face.

If things work right (and I have no confidence that they do) he should have not had access to any classified information despite holding a clearance. The clearance doesn't grant you access, it only says you are eligible to see it if your job gives you a need to know. He has no job other than TV talking head, so he has no need to know. So hopefully this is a symbolic gesture. But like I said, I don't have confidence that he wasn't being given classified info even though he had no need to know.

I don’t think any former clearance holder should retain it after their term of service ends.

 

It may stop the quality/quantity of the info that Brennan can use for his criticisms if it's no longer ok to discuss classified info with him. Not sure how many want to risk their necks to give him something to leak.

 

Trump would never be allowed around tiny objects that are swallowing hazards, so both games are probably out...

Yes this is news that's why its breaking with all news sources. Trump threatened to take Brennans Security clearance and now he makes good on that promise. Naturally the Lame Stream wouldn't forget one of Trumps promises now, would they?

It appears Brennan and Clapper still want theirs or they wouldn't have got out there before the cameras mocking Trump for thinking about it.
