    Trump played an excellent hand with Comey. He got him to admit to a great deal in public (leaking, Lynch pressure, 2/14 NYT story was wrong, journalist are usually wrong, President was never under investigation, "hope" does not equal obstruction) with a bluff

    Comey also testified, under oath mind you, that no pressure was plased upon him from Trump or anyone else in the administration to alter, stop or impede the investigation. Then of course after being dismissed Magic Memos are alleged to exist (...) you know the rest of the lie.

    A) Trump is a troll because he actively implied that he had tapes on Comey and then avoided answering the question of whether he actually had tapes for six ****ing weeks.
    B) He is happily supporting him as President
    C) Therefore, the question is justified.

    Because Comey testified under oath that the President asked him to back off the investigation of Michael Flynn. When asked about it, Trump said it never happened, and Trump himself offered to testify under oath.
