Of course NATO is not destroyed, yet. Trump by screaming openly about spending increases that was agreed to to under Bush and reaffirmed under Obama like he did hurt thecalliance. Then he makes fun of not wanting to support Montenegro if they are attacked is not exactly healthy. Failure to support a member state if they are attacked would destroy NATO. Do you think that Estonia or Latvia are rolling on the floor laughing at the Montenegro "joke". Since before the '16 election, I have been talking about the noticeable war drums towards Russia. I believe the overblown election tampering narrative is nothing but an attempt to prevent improved relations with Russia. This is all about money. We turned on Assad and made him a boogy man because he wouldn't allow a nat gas pipeline from our Arab "prop up the dollar" friends. Then, Putin had to protect his own nat gas economy.

As far as the media is concerned, there is no propaganda program period. Full stop. This is how it works: trump says stupid sh!t, contradicts himself, and comes off as a general moron. The left wing mob wants their echo chamber to confirm their biases and stoke their outrage so that is what's delivered. It's really that simple. If you listen to truly liberal sources, they pretty much lay out the entire Assad diplomacy history and bash Obama the entire way. I'm not sure it's a conspiracy when you witness it first hand, and it's documented so clearly.

"We have to use nuclear weapons to deescalate." The problem with this theory is that in the real world, the result of an attack would lead to hundreds possibly thousands dead, damaged infrastructure, etc. And any government that takes such an attack lying down would be immediately overthrown and the nuke war would start up again anyway.

The only true method of deescalation has always been non-proliferation and negotiation. Trump's right on this.
