Yep! More fantasy. And this is where the real issue is that so many have rise coloured glasses and see Trump not for who he is but who they wish him to be.

That, and also the variety of desperation that comes from those who want to remain relevant and worshipped.

House members aren't the elite, and even the speaker has to win his/her district every two years.

The House is a direct reflection of the will of the people, broken up into hundreds of diverse districts.

An ex-POTUS running for a House seat is nonsensical. An ex-NYC Democrat-Republican city slicker TV show hollywood lookin' host who thinks his **** doesn't stink running for a district in rural Idaho is delusional.

A Trump speakership is just as delusional.

That's exactly what it is. His blog failure shows people won't trouble themselves to see what he has to say. No Twitter. No FB. No White House. Trump is fading. I kinda hope he sticks around. Trump is the Democrats' best weapon.

The United States Federal Government is a total joke because it is all political theater! And the citizens of the country are nothing but puppets. Those who deny this reality are the biggest puppets of them all.

It doesn't have to be a Trump speakership. I'll be clear: "I'd love for it to be a anyone but Pelosi speakership" and when that happens, I feel like the nation should be in jubilation. It's the same thing when Harry Reid retired. The American People need good leadership.

Does he realize he has to unseat someone in their district? Whose district? The one in NYC? The one in Mar a lago? The one in NJ? It had better be a red district. I think those are all blue. Now then....

When he finds out that the job requires a lot of work, even more than the president, and it's only a 2 year term, and a lot of telephone soliciting for donations, and speaking appointments across America and some serious wonkiness to which he is averse, I don't think he's going to like the job at all.

He is only attracted to the IDEA of it, not the reality of it. Which is always the case with Donald Trump

It's a fleeting thought, nothing more.

But, by 2022 he will have been indicted on a few charges, and probably convicted, so it's a moot point, in my opinion.

And can he run from jail? That's where he'll be.

There's a load of legal bricks right over his head and the release is ready.

He's now an official "resident" of Florida (7.5 months of the year, anyway).... Zero chance he's running in NY or NJ..

I posted in #20 his probable district.... currently considered D+6, so it would be a great get for the R's if he could do it...

He wouldn't do any of the election/legislating work a regular Congressman attempts, except for the speaking and donation scamming....

Fleeting thoughts are all he has... but some of them do turn into action...

Legislation is written 90% by lobbyists these days. If Trump does have money he can burn, I'm sure he can have lobbyists write it for him.

He'd have to learn, and adhere to, parliamentary procedure. That's honestly the biggest barrier. He has the attention span of caffeinated baby hummingbird.

Trump is the most dangerous man to America that has yet existed. He is the only Caudillo we have ever had. Read up on Latin America if you don't agree.

And the only thing more dangerous is someone like him but smart. There's really nothing we can do. We opened the door and now only await what monster will walk through

    Thanks Republicans

My guess is he'd find out how exactly Greene got banned from all committee work, then follow that plan....

    Day 1....

Greene just did stupid stuff. Trump being Trump wouldn't mostly violate rules, as long as he can keep space between himself and women ROFL.

Greene was removed out of hatred. I have seen Democrats say far worse then her and not get punished. It was all one sided.

Democrats always get a free pass on everything.

AOC is a moron (see recent drama) and Maxine Waters calls for violence but let's forget about them and attack Greene because she made a few stupid comments.

I think Hillary was America's biggest threat and Trump stopped her from becoming POTUS so he did what I voted for him to do in 2016. I'm happy with that. The wall and more jobs were just bonuses.

Kinda be a first for an ex-president, but why the House? He could carpetbag like many another politicians...be a US Senator...governor....judge....don't know WHY he'd want to, what he and his family were put through over 4 years would have killed a dedicated masochist.

I mean, he certainly could run anywhere. Lookit Hilla, she ran in New York. The quintessential carpetbagger and the Dems had no objection. There's no rule that says he can't.

As a certain poster here would say, and says almost every day:

If you don't like him, feel free to not vote for him.

    ^Problem solved.
