    Even though you posted it twice, it would appear that the meaning was lost on you.

    All political parties have many different elements which are, basically, identical despite opposite political beliefs.

    One of those is the "fringe", or "radical" element.

    We've witnessed it on the right for years. Think Timothy McVeigh, Stormfront, Pioneer Little Europe, and a small but vocal cabal of Trump voters.

    These groups didn't disband simply because Trump was elected.

    So, too, are the fringe elements on the left who have been laying dormant, now resurfacing to jam a finger in the eye of the mainstream.

    They look like speed bumps to me. Where the hell are the police? Block traffic like that in Florida, some heads will get knocked together and spend time in lockup.

    my Florida county is about 75% republican.

    You know what that means,,,, we get about 1 (single) protester a year, usually holding a stupid sign that makes no sense, he usually lasts about 15 minutes while the police phone rings off the hook, then they come and say "why don't you sit in the back of the cruiser while we sort this out" and drive away, just like on Cops!

    Its a wonderful place to live!

    By contrast, i'm traveling to seattle in a couple of days, sent an email to a friend that lives there and he said "oh boy you are coming to
    Lib Tardia?"

    no worries, i'll be high tailing it away from the cities about 10 minutes after I pick up my rental car.

    We get some of those protestors with signs, by freeway on, & off ramps.

    Most of the signs say, "Will work for food", or "Car trouble, can you help?"

    what I find most "Odd" about this whole thing.

    Why oh why would you want to block traffic for your cause and keep people from going from A to B?

    Common sense tells me that its the fastest, most efficient way to get people to absolute HATE your cause !!!!

    added bonus, you can get get run over by someone that officially is now against whatever the hell you were preaching.

    how stupid can these people be?

    The only time i've ever stopped traffic is when a guy got it on a bicycle and we wanted to make sure he didn't get hit a 2nd time while we waited for the ambulance.

    And will resort to violence at a drop of the hat in order to achieve that goal, and no amount of benign BS about "wanting to be left alone", is going to change that.

    And I would argue that they are more alike than they are different because they both have similar goals, and will resort to violence to meet them.
