One would hope, that eventually this kind of ignorance will sooner, rather than later, die on the vine.

Without clean air and clean water, increases on seniors are worth (*)(*)(*)(*) in a barrel.

Yeah and even when the Euros figure out that its better to spend money elsewhere than on this overreach by a party. You know its not looking good for the lefts argument.

The winds of climate change restraint are felt overseas as well. Representatives of the Group of 20 nations, meeting in Germany earlier this month, dropped from their final communique an affirmation of efforts to shower more government money on “green” projects. “Climate change,” says one government official, “is out for the time being.”......snip~

The Clean Power Plan was a naked executive overreach riding on the back of alarmist manipulation of climate science. Anyone concerned with good government, the energy sector, or sound science should applaud the administration's actions.

So Democrats opted for the less democratic path of dubious executive action. Obama issued regulations, leaning on the Clean Air Act, that regulate power plants' emissions of carbon dioxide as though it were a pollutant, even though it is plant food — the world is getting greener — and it's also what we breath.

Republican-governed states sued to overturn the rule and succeeded in blocking it temporarily in court. Trump's actions on Tuesday will begin the process of undoing the deceptively euphonious Clean Power Plan.

This action is proper as a matter of constitutional separation of powers. If the federal government is to regulate the emission of carbon dioxide, then Congress should pass a law to regulate the emission of carbon dioxide. But when Democrats had a huge House majority, a filibuster-proof Senate supermajority and a president who pledged to stop the oceans' rise, they still declined to do so. Even in those extraordinary circumstances, the measure cannot be passed democratically. But Obama, never one to trouble himself over the niceties of democratic propriety when it stands in the way of his agenda, shoved it down the country's throat anyway.

Maybe Democrats should campaign on such regulations in 2018 and 2020 and see if the voters like the idea of making electricity and everything else manufactured in America more expensive. We suspect they won't, because they know voters won't buy it. Most polls show that the public is concerned about climate change but not enough to pay a lot more for energy......snip~

Hopefully more people will figure out the arrogance and ignorance of the left when it concerns science. Taking away any vines they thought they could use.

Are you an expert in climate science as to draw such a conclusion?

Ignorance once again, run a muck. " Most polls show that the public is concerned about climate change but not enough to pay a lot more for energy" Lol! So, you think the public has choices when it comes to climate change?

I was thinking about that, Pres. Obama's stuttering when asked questions and off prompter. He really was pretty bad. But can you imagine how MSM would be attacking trump if he had this speech problem? They would brutalize him. And you can take that to the bank. Damned yellow journalist bastards.

Once the Right exposes the ignorance of the Left on this subject, only then can you yourself bask in your own arrogance. Too bad for you, that will never happen.

    I can see why:

    Nice.

Of course, here in America, the faux-humanitarian Left wants to put coal miners and their households in the dark.

But, it's okay! "Progressives" are going to fundamentally transform Appalachia into Silicon Valley.

Its already happened.....that's why the left refuses to look at the science on the flip side of that coin.

Maybe the lefts so called wizards shouldn't have used buoys in shipping traffic lanes.

The "environment" I live in is doing just fine. Other then constantly being blamed by lefties for not paying my "fair share" (i.e. It's never enough) and living lavishly due to my "white privilege"

That's what's under assault for me, and it's all due to your side and their never ending quest for other people's money under the guise of "fairness" and your bleeding heart feelings.

Bloody right they should, coal is a filthy, outdated 19th century energy source and it should not be encouraged merely for profit, employment and vote buying. Alternative sources of energy and employment should be pursued in the 21st century rather than the narrow self interest of miners and politicians.
A pox on both their houses.

My post is very legit, yours not so much.

Climate change is proven hogwash as you put it. The data was all cooked and manipulated to make it look like puny humans could effect the planets natural cycles.

Only a simpleton would believe such nonsense. The Earth goes through many cycles and we can only DREAM of being able to influence them. research some history about the air in the last 900 million years.

Man made climate change is bogus, fake news, and outright lies. The planet does what it does, regardless of your, or my puny input.

Coal fired power plants have been decreasing every year.. In just the past decade they have been reduced again from 600 to 400 .. Trump cannot save the coal industry.. but he doesn't know any better.

This may present a problem for Tillerson. A judge has ordered Exxon to turn over ALL the emails from Wayne Tracker AKA Rex Tillerson.

As anyone in the coal industry can tell you, there's a reason why production has decreased every year, and him and his party no longer control the White House, the DOE, the EPA, etc.

There no such thing as a filthy or outdated energy sources. Energy sources can be only more or less efficient. Coal is a very efficient source. It costs less money and therefore takes less pollution to produce the same amount electricity of the same quality from coal than from solar panels.

Firstly I'm no great fan of PV solar panels but much better forms of solar energy are now being developed such as the Moroccan power plants opened last year using mirrors to heat oil and drive steam turbines, wind is pretty good too.
Secondly I'm not sure why you link the cost of coal to it's cleanness compared to alternative energy. Going to have to explain that baffling statement. Why less money equals less pollution escapes me.......

CO2 is NOT contaminating our air and water, contrary to leftmythology. THIS is CONTAMINATING OUR AIR AND WATER, courtesy of the Obama EPA, and their Great Environmental Concern:
