    That's a good post. My sentiments exactly. I really don't hate him, its just that he is dangerous and his stupidity is causing quite a bit of harm to US society, the US economy, and US foreign policy as well.

    That said, it is a fact that some on the left truly hate Trump. Its that aspect I really don't have a taste for.

    Kinda depends on what is being resisted, why it's being resisted, and how it's being resisted. In this case, the "resistance" stems from, and is fueled by, hate.

    Yet your every post regarding Trump drips hatred and disdain and not just for Trump either. It's been that was since 2016. You shovel crap out at Trump folk and when you get the same back you act shocked and surprised. Trump has much of his support almost entirely because he won't put up with leftist calumny. And frankly its about time a Republican stood up to the leftist bully boys here and elsewhere. You want civility try practicing it.

    As long as this is carried as a war between dems and pubs, Repubs and cons, the numbers and demographics are going to destroy your party's chances to influence governance in the next decade in America at the national level and will witness a steady shrinkage at the state and local level.

    That is in the eye of the beholder. There is no poll or any way I know of to measure that. It relies on how one sees things along with their political persuasion, ideology etc. Probably most of all whether one is in the pro or anti Trump camp.

    From the beginning, to the middle and at the end, "We don't need a ****** in the White House " attributed to John Boehner (but never provably)when he was asked why he so consistently opposed everything Obama ever did. Anybody who thinks that isn't so is attributing an ideological purity to conservatives that seems to have miraculously evaporated on the moment of Trump's victory.

    Trump is dangerous to the world because they can no longer control our president as they did with Obama and he's dangerous to democrats and the establishment because he's showing Americans what can actually be accomplished by bucking the system

    Maybe in the Deep South but not in America as a whole. I have traveled the country extensively and see the American flag in front of countless homes while the confederate flag is a rarity to see. That does seem to be the narrative of the left though. Trump supporting confederate flag flying gun racks in the window rednecks.

    Garyd, I have yet to see a logical, factual post about Trump from Atwater. Always hateful. He likes to slander and degrade before making his allegations as well. The hate runs the show, there is nothing else.

    Creasy is right. Your mistake. Trump is playing the left, and they don't have a clue that they are destroying themselves. Appropriate, too- they deserve it. Doubt if they will learn anything however from the loss however- that would be expecting too much.
