I heard a great comment on TV yesterday about him. It was said that if you look at Trump's history you'll see that he is all about destruction. He undermines himself and ends up destroying his own position repeatedly. And he has been working for 2 years to blow himself up with lies and shooting himself in the foot, like "I'm going to declare an emergency. We have no choice!" but a few sentences later it's "I didn't really have to do this. (emergency)".

Booker on a personality factor scores a bit higher, but he also comes off as sort of a tightass to me... Genuine charisma in politics is a strange and rare pairing..

I mean we all have fun debating specific policies and such but an average person likely just won’t know. I’m sure to the average person it looks like we here at PF are speaking a foreign language lol. Since they can’t differentiate between policies it comes down to personality and party affiliation. If your a Democrat you aren’t gonna sway a person who votes Republican just because they’re Republican but with a likable centrist democrat you could funnel off a lot of Trump voters. I just bail on Gillibrand because she's ALWAYS the first to condemn others without due process.. She was the first to come out against Al Franken and pretty close to the first to come out against Gov Northam (who survived his 2nd week yesterday)...

Also, I really think the Dems always have a better chance with middle-of-the-country candidates. Where are the last 4 Dem presidents from?? Texas, Georgia, Arkansas, and Illinois...You know they'll run up the score on the West Coast and the Northeast, with a few other random states like, New Mexico, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, and Virginia...

Strictly politically, running somebody from the middle tier of the USA is the strategy to use, which is one of the reasons I'd prefer no Harris, Booker, Bernie, Warren, Bloomberg, or Gillibrand. Not that any of them wouldn't be decent candidates, but they all bring states they don't need.

Biden's sort of a crossover, having a lot of Penn roots (which D's HAVE to win again). And then there's Beto, who lost to Fu Manchu Cruz. Beto doesn't have enough of a background for my taste.

 

I’ll raise you progressive policy that prevented the kid from being arrested long before he shot anyone. Liberal controlled School admin, FBI and ultimately police that ignored warning after warning because they didn’t want to get sued by progressive groups labeleing the kid crazy. Guns don’t shoot themselves. And besides. Every illegal entrant is preventable. A citizen obtaining a gun is infinitely more difficult to prevent. Nearly impossible.

It’s apples and oranges really. You can’t compare citizens legally allowed to be here committing crimes with illegals committing those same crimes. Unless, you want to admit how preventable deaths are at the hands of illegals.
