    • Flamebaiting (Rule 3)
<Rule 3> The States have laid out exactly what they object to about this. But Trump wants to control the narrative by saying they have not uttered a word about why. He understands well that facts can be ignored, when appealing to the emotions of his base.

First of all, Trump did not appoint a bipartisan commission.

His appointed a strictly partisan one, one heavily staffed with people who were actively involved in voter supression campaigns.

Its chairman, Chris Kolvatch, spent four years as Kansas secretary of state, peddling the "thousands of illegal aliens voted" lie.

In his position, he had full power to investigate his own allegation. He did.

    He found no evidence.

Which hasn't stopped him from continuing to pander to the Mexihate crowd with this fake meme.

If you want to talk about a bipartisan commission, I'm all ears.

But Trump isn't going to appoint one, and the GOP congress is unlikely to take up any of its reccomendations either.

It was bipartisan with people from all sides I don't care you didn't like the Republicans on it.

We need to take a HARD look at what the states are doing, how they are doing, what works and what doesn't and what better we can do. That you object to that is absurd. What were you so afraid of? That they would recommend voter ID? Is that it?

It doesn't have to be and of course a Trump administration official headed. Pence and very capable honorable man. That you put your petty grievances against Trump over better elections is amazing.

No it was not. I don't know who you think you are trying to fool with these idiotic lies.

As for Kolvach, his record as a race baiter, and a voter suppression activist is not in doubt.

In four years of "investigating" his own fake claim that thousands of illegal aliens voted, he found exactly ONE.

My criticism of Trump's conduct is hardly petty. If you believe that the committee was bipartisan, then you also believe in the fairy godmother.

    Quite petty here.
"Membership of the commission is still taking shape but so far already includes Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson (R), New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner (D), Maine Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap (D), former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell (R) and the commissioner of the election assistance commission Christie McCormick."

Now go talk to your fairy godmother

It was bipartisan as I showd and had to be disbanded before it could do it's work.
