Yes, and if Trump is not the nominee, at least YOU will support the one that is, unlike others that evidently want Hillary/four more years of Obama!

Yes it doesn't matter that trump has never had any principles as a business man so long as he pretends he does as a candidate. He's concerned about illegals taking American jobs....so long as his business can keep hiring them.

    Two things:
    1. Does this mean that Cruz is lying? After all, Bloomberg Politics has just wrote a story about Trump's business dealings and stated "they are sitting on them until the general election."

    2. For the EB-5 Visa, you do realize we WANT the cash of foreign investors for privately funded projects. And given how Trump manages things with property that has his logo on it, having foreign investors is a good thing for the economy. Right? So the RW, so called, pro business posters on this forum are criticizing a person who is using pro business style investments to build a project that has jobs. So, who is the hypocrite here?

That's not a fear. I feel like Trump attracts more than the other candidates. I don't believe any polls.

These are 'legal' Chinese investors.......what part of that do you not understand? There are thousands of these type projects all across the U.S. that take in foreign investment and create jobs for U.S. workers......how is that 'not having any principles'?

The issue I have with Trump is that his political position that he has taken, namely his trade and legal immigration (read H-1b Visa), is that it is completely opposite of what he did as a business person. He would not have made as much money as he did if he did his business the way he did his political proposals. However, being in business, the principles one goes by is to not violate the law intentionally, which Trump has not. He is an entrepreneur who has had successes as well as failures. And in that regard, his principles have won since he has created wealth for his name and family.

Yeah, by creating tariffs with China. That is not a win by any standard.

So it's fine to screw Americans to make himself rich but nobody else should be able to? I don't blame a businessman for doing it, but he's not running for businessman of the year.

Yes, a government goal is to get more foreign money into the USA to avoid still more national debt and trade balance deficits.

MG, what crimes did Trump commit? He's not being investigated by the FBI, the entire liberal media maybe along with most of the GOP, but not the FBI.

If Trump is a shrewd businessman than I'd rather have him use those talents to also include doing stuff for me. Look at the current president and the two libs who are running for the position and tell me what have they personally achieved that even comes close to what Trump has done. Combine all three of them together and tell me how many total years they've spent in the private sector and not mooching off government, how many jobs they've created, and so on.

As far as I'm concerned, Trump is a doer who gets things done, the other 3 are lumps.

And generally have above room temperature IQs............particularly if they are Northern (Han) Chinese which most of these investors are. But don't get your hopes up......the Chinese are some of the most racist people in the world and don't want their daughter hangin' out with no gwai lo

I actually prefer Latino women (and Italian) women to most others. I think Latinas are hot - well, at least the ones without moustaches and sideburns. Never had a thing for Asian women, maybe I need to see more of them.

That is not what I am saying. I am simply saying that Trump's political stances are not in line with his historical business stances. If they were one in the same, I would have no qualms with Trump. In other words, he would have never survived in the business world if we were following his proposals on the campaign trail.

there is always the possibility that once Trump gets the nomination that he would become more centrist and only used the rhetoric to get the votes. I do not think it will happen, but is could.

However, I still have not made up my mind on who to vote for come November. I am an independent, which means no political party corners me into voting one way or the other.

I can even remember seeing him say it.

It took me too long to match the correct names with each one; I dont mix them up. Admittedly I was on the computer at the time...but I could swear it was Cruz.

If you want to talk about principles look at what the last two administrations have been up to in the Mideast and the Ukraine.

Businessmen have been pointing out for years that they will follow the current laws whatever they are, in order to have a level playing field. They have practically begged Congress to pass laws that are also good for the country as a whole, but Congress has apparently been too stupid or greedy to do that.
