Politicians did attempt to confine healthy people to their homes as another forum member pointed out. Where I live, we were told to avoid work and enjoy the parks and beaches. A few days later, they closed the parks and beaches. Gatherings were banned unless it was for a specific group.

 

You stated - today - that healthy people were confined to their homes. And that isn't true. Calling you out on it is not an insult. Comparing you to Trump, apparently, is an insult to you.

As for the changing messages, it was a time of learning. Messages will change as more is learned.

"Stay at home orders" were put in place by politicians (With nice haircuts) to confine healthy people to their homes. Not everyone was lucky enough to be deemed "essential". My statement is still true.

Trump put a task force together in record time. The Task Force came with less than adequate supplies and rushed to get supplies to the professionals and to victims.

This was ahead of more than several victims dying. Trump jumped all over this as did Fauci and other medical people. Pence managed the entire group of professionals.

In this state, it was our Governor that sprang into immediate action and we have had as a result of his leadership a low number of deaths

We had 3 deaths yesterday and so far this entire year 535.

We must have had double to triple the deaths due to heart disease and Cancer..
