Trump made the remark during an interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, saying he respected his Russian counterpart.

“But he’s a killer,” O’Reilly said to Trump.

THIS is their own country. Does he say that to everyone he doesn't like? I've never him heard suggest that before. Who does that? It makes zero sense to tell an American to go back to their own country. You said so yourself. There must have been some reason he would suggest that to them.

The statement is not racist per se but only saying that to people who are not white, it becomes racist.

Say there are 30 people of white/black/jew applying for jobs and I'm the interviewer. If I only ask the white job applicants if they have ever inappropriately touched children. That's racist not because of the question but because I only ask the white people.

No I said white Americans, not Europeans or French. White Americans who were born here are not told to go back to Europe.

At most, they are told "if you don't like it, leave," which is vastly different from saying go 'back' to their country of origin (ancestors).
