Why would you think that should I be forced to go 'back to where I or my ancestors came from'...? My people immigrated here LEGALLY from Germany, became naturalized American citizens LEGALLY, worked hard, and paid taxes all their lives. I was born here to people who were citizens of the United States, and I worked hard and paid every penny I ever owed in taxes to the government, exactly as it was demanded of me. No handouts, no welfare, no 'free stuff' -- none of that crap for me or anyone on either side of my family. When my ancestors got here, they worked and supported themselves from the moment "the boat touched the shore" -- nobody gave them a damn thing!

Sadly, we live in a world where false accusations of racism are common. Its as if people were raised to be offended first and ask questions later. Nevada and Texas had signs telling liberals to go back to where they came from. To a reasonable person, the comment was an attack on politics, not race. I appreciate the polite discussion and that is where we will have to part ways on this issue. Meanwhile, Im sure Omar has responded in a mature, professional manner.

 

I think the people who are so quick to call 'Racist' are themselves terrified of being labeled as such. It has them reacting to every insignificant nuance that offends them.
