A true United States of America, for all people(including Liberals.) If they don't want to be here, power to them but we'll miss them. For this country is whole again.
As it should be, because Presidents shouldn't have the power to effect everything to that citizen who or did or didn't vote for him.
Trump's win will end up being the biggest example of low information voters "winning" in US history. people will look back and laugh at how this con man managed to fool dumb right winger voters with race baiting rhetoric. I'll just keep reminding them that less than a decade ago Mr. Trump was doing nothing but singing praises for the woman whom he now calls "crooked Hillary". It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad. - - - Updated - - - I don't know, the Trumpeteers are envisioning the orange doofus will be bringing in a whole new America starting in 2017. "Drain the swamp", right?
Yep, Trump achieved a miracle, plus congress went full GOP. It seems that he is right, whatever he touches turns to gold, even though he tries his hardest to mess it up. Let's hope that he will have the same luck for America. Of course, excuse time for our conservative friends now has stopped. So, we want to see some of these campaign promises come to fruition and we won't forget that he made them. So, we'll wait for: -The wall -- paid by Mexico -4%+ GDP growth -The most beautiful economy America has ever seen -Offshored jobs coming back to the US -Rise in manufacturing jobs -Elimination of ISIS -No cost rises in health care Now that the show is on the other foot, however, my feeling is that deficits all of a sudden won't matter anymore and that our conservative friends will start vehemently defending everything big bad government does, as we have seen before under GWB. And instead of being gracious in victory, they'll call everyone a traitor and un-American if you dare to speak up against leader Trump.
Please leave god out of this. Because the behavior of our new president elect is not something that is endorsed by the bible. In fact, the religious right is dead having all voted for this guy. And they didn't even have to hold their nose doing it. It was however, always clear that the "values votes" were always a sham, because they just voted for their pocket book and not for their religion.
As a never Trump guy who voted for Hillary I congratulate you guys as well. Trump summited the metaphorical Everest as America's choice for our 45th president. Hopefully the nastiness can subside and we as Americans can move forward with our countries decision. Trump won fair and square and we that voted against him should, as adults, give him his just due shot.
Yep...this about sums it up. All I'm going to say is the Democrats need to work on their "game", and come back to defeat a very vulnerable Trump in 2020.
If we the people do not like what Trump does between now and the midterms, he risks loosing the House and the Senate during the midterm elections and possibly being a failed one term President. But for the next two years it is Trump time, so I hope he uses the time wisely!
Congratulations my Conservative friends! While I am an independent I see us all as brothers and sisters.
I wish I could see through your eyes as my perspective is a bit different. But none the less I congratulate you on your victory.
I'll be waiting for Trump to not carry out any of his promises and then see the disappointment and disgust in his supporters once his lies come to light when the reality hits them. One of his first promises was to lock up Clinton so let's see what happens there
Based again on nothing but pure, raw, irrational emotion. Just my an aassertion. Welcome to the newer, better america!
You will, in time. Though it's not as though you have to be necessarily Nationalist. In my views, I can be conservative on some issues(conservative meaning, not wanting something to break) and on others, I can be Liberal(as in meaning we should move ahead on this issue of reform or interest.) If your idea of our country, is one united and never divided by words of the media, of politicians looking to slander good innocent people for no good reason. If that's your America, then we share the same vision. Just slightly different ways of moving along.
First let me say that I am not a Trump supporter. I do not know how old you are but I have been around for enough decades to have seen many predictions of a President will cause WWIII and yet we are still here and WWIII has yet to happen. Each and every election there will be the chicken little's screaming that the sky is falling. If Clinton had won then I would be saying this to a conservative.
It is indeed your night...Donald Trump's night and his supporter's night. I wish him the best of luck...and all success. I wish the people of the United States good luck also. I think we are going to need it.
His core supporters will blame everyone else but Trump, so he has nothing to worry about with them. It's the independents and moderates who went for Trump that will be pissed if he breaks his promises.
For me, both candidates are honestly pretty terrible. While Trump was pretty wild and loose, I don't think many people- even those who actually voted for her- really felt good about Hillary. At least Trump made his supporters feel good about electing him. Hillary just leaves you with a cold, reptilian sense of apathy. It's about those feels man. Information need not apply, but even with info, Hillary was just too dirty and too suspicious. By rights, she should be on trial or in jail.
All fair, and your right. I'm cautiously optimistic. I am wary of his temperament. But if the movement's calling was right now, then it's also my time to step in and support the movement before it collapses. For this movement in its ethereal spirit, is the spirit that the Founding Fathers had when they went to war with Britain. Don't fire until fire upon. Anti-corruption and taxation without representation. This is in our spirit, Paine's philosophy will live with an American until that American passes away.
Kind of funny how the Trump fanatics criticized the Obama supporters for voting on 'feelings', and yet they did the same thing themselves.
First and foremost...I wish Donald Trump the best of luck in his administration. I hope he is very successful...and that whatever he does works out well for America and the world. Now, an observation: The Republicans now have almost total control of the United States right now. They have the presidency; the House; the Senate; will soon have the Supreme Court...and actually dominate the legislatures and governorships of most of the states... ...so everything that happens during the next four years will be to their...credit. Right?
Meh, no politician keeps all their promises. Obama made a number of promises while on the stump which he broke once in office. If Trump tries to lock up Clinton my civility will be replaced by rage as locking up political opponents is the action of a tyrant.
