UH, shouldn't Christians have Christian/Christmas spirit ALL THE TIME?

Why do you want to "dominate"? Doesn't that come under the sin of Pride?

Why do you think YOUR "spirit" is better than anyone else's?

So many questions, so little defense, so few answers.......

My error, I was thinking of something else. Santa is an anagram of Satan though.

Most religions have a period where they pay extra heed to their religion and Christianity is no different with the Christmas season. It's a time to really focus on the spirit if giving and good will toward men that is so easy to forget in our earthly dog eat dog world.

When they demand non-Christians go out of their way to cater to them and demand that no store, even if it is owned by non-Christians put up decorations or celebrate other religion's holidays, yes it is too much.

The majority of this country is Hispanic now. Should we all celebrate Cinco de Mayo because of it?

Nothing is stopping them from celebrating Christmas. Yet they get mad when non-Christians decide not to, or stores cater to more than just Christians.

I said it was a subject better suited for another thread in the religion forum.

Trump goons seem to be appeased by his fixating upon frivolous cultural minutia rather than addressing substantive matters of state.

I only wish that the pissy chap would spew a few of his hysterical tweets about the penchant an increasing number of folks exhibit for beginning a statement with the word, "So."

The monosyllable properly serves as a discourse marker, expressing a logical progression from a previous statement. However, there is a disturbing trend where it is employed to demand immediate attention, like ‘Lo!’, ‘Hark!’, ‘Behold!, or ‘Attend!’

As Trump continues to seek for petty diversions from gravitas and matters of consequence, I hope he will eventually go ballistic over this disturbing syntactical drift.

So Christians are FREE to pay extra heed...why do they want to deny that to others.....why is YOUR heed more important( that sin of pride again)

OK, now answer the other questions:

Santa is evil by enslaving innocent animals and elves as his unpaid slaves, and for sending a demon "Krumpus" to kill little children when he thinks they are being naughty.

As I said Christians only ask one month out of 12 to celebrate their religion. The other eleven are wide open.

You just don't get it...Christians do NOT own the United States nor the months of the year....they do NOT get to override other's right to free speech and expression...

...and noted is your refusal to face what Christians allegedly consider sins..

This would include public displays without other religions and atheists demanding equal space.

You only get one day off work on the 25th. Why do you need the whole month? Oh yeah, to go on a shopping frenzy the free market salivates over -- for more profit. That has nothing to do with Christmas or its spirit.

As a Christian, you should actually be really celebrating Easter. That's by far the most important Christian holiday. I wonder why you left that out of your demand to celebrate your religion.

Christmas season takes more than one day. It's about family and the spirit of giving and good will toward man. It deserves some time.

I'd agree with that, but Christians don't have a monopoly on spending time with family and good will toward man.

So, what is celebrated on Easter?

Easter is another subject. Christianity defines American values or used to anyway. Do unto others, good will toward man etc and since 70% of America is still Christian they deserve their time to celebrate
