Trump & his supporters never listened to the medical & scientific experts in regards of this virus. What would make us believe that you would now?

As long as masks are used and social distancing is obeyed for teachers and support staff are so valuable they should always be protected at all times.

The experts say grade schoolers only, and only if they don't get a lunch break. So, I'm not sure how I feel about these experts.

The EU first got the virus under control, which is not the case in the US.

You want to claim that the guidelines are different, so back up your ****.

    Quote the difference.

so what you are saying is that you can't respond without fabricating the position of your debate opponent.

if you thought they were essential you’d be willing to treat teachers like grocery clerks, mechanics, nurses etc

Much More valuable. Also they spend 6 hours a day or more with kids who can be asymptomatic transmitters. Common-sense precautions, such as hand-washing, physical distancing and minimizing group activities, including lunch and recess. should be taken. This is nothing like a supermarket.

You would have been open well before the protests started if it wasn't for the science deniers refusing to wear masks. You had the advantage of seeing what was happening in Europe weeks before it really hit you and you did nothing but deny the dangers of the virus

i agree education is mich more essential...so much more important to get them to work.

these clerks spend 8 plus hours a day dealing with 100s of different random people if they can stay safe then teachers certainly can dealing with a lot it ed controled group

Not true. We flattened the curve. No one in science denies that. Only the (5) Democratic Governors that forced contagious patients into Nursing Homes made it worse.

This is not a supermarket environment and so not comparable.. So a slow cautious approach should be taken.. Kids can be unruly and more dangerous if not obeying the rules. Common-sense precautions, such as hand-washing, physical distancing and minimizing group activities, including lunch and recess. should be taken. If outbreaks occur than schools should be shut down rapidly.

Protests are fine, but you can't go to the beach. You Leftists will believe any damn propaganda that is put in front of you if it forwards your Big Government / Globalist dreams.

Our school district in a low risk county, will do half classes. Monday till Tuesday one half, Wednesday closed for deep cleaning, Thursday and Friday the other half, Saturday deep cleaning. When the kids are not in school on-line school.

Protests are necessary. It's the same as fighting for your country especially during the time of a racist president who is dangerous and divisive. But they should be wearing masks and I have to criticize them on that point. We have a racist president dividing the country and lying about the Coronavirus.
