Update - As of the end of May - US GDP growth has been revised upwards from 2.2% to 2.3% on an annual basis. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/30/second-reading-on-q1-2018-gdp.html

As of the beginning of the year - the markets are flat. If we go from the peak ( and 52 week high) of 26,600 made early in 2018 - we are sitting 24,700 today which is roughly 10% down.

This is despite corporations using Trump's corporate welfare payments mostly to buy back shares - which helps to increase the share price.

This is despite Trump pumping in an extra 600 Billion in credit card spending (deficit spending) in the first half the fiscal year, October 2017 to March 2018.

Enter the Trade war - how is this going to help GDP ? Its not - It is going to decrease GDP.

Too funny. You just acknowledged that production is necessary before consumption. The “currency” is earned for labor engaged in production. QED.

Hilarious - read and understand your own link. The bill was never passed. It was referred to committee and reintroduced in 2007 where the D’s torpedoed it. Too funny.

Lol, it passed the house on 5/22/07. It was not voted on in the senate.

Republicans killed it, as I said, in 2005. It died in committee in 2007

nope. I correctly pointed out that demand precedes production. It isn't my fault you don't have a ****ing clue about economics, despite NUMEROUS people trying to educate you in this thread alone, lol.

It went to committee and was killed by Democrats in 2007. Read your own post.

Too funny. You acknowledge that the wages earned are for labor from production which funds economic demand and then mindlessly claim that economic demand is not funded by production ?? Hilarious.

The only reason it would take all day is because the quote you see doesn't exist.

I know what I'm talking about, you do not. Demand is the DESIRE to consume a thing, which is met based on supply. When supply meets demand there is economic equilibrium. Demand, however, is not funded consumption, it is demand to consume. This is why you will not find a single economic resource which supports your ignorance of the subject.

What if we looked at per capita growth?

Some number of people that were in the country's economy have been deported, and immigration (and thus population growth) is slowing. Therefore it's not at all surprising that total net growth wouldn't be that high.

I’ve never seen someone whose own posts confirm that production always precedes consumption and then deny it. Bizarre.
