Trump may re-impose Iranian sanctions, but that will be the extent of US actions towards Iran. Israel will ensure the Iranians never become a nuclear state, not the US. Given Chinas provocative actions in the S. China Sea, specifically, militarization of artificial atolls, despite having pledged not to do so, war may be inevitable. Chinas tacit support of N. Korea is equally as alarming. I suspect S. Korea may become a flashpoint in the near future. Trump suggests S. Korea / Japan develope their own nuclear arsenals, and that is IMO the only practical way to curb Chinese agression.

I don't expect Trump or America will start any wars. No one is going to want to mess with an America that's rebuilding it's military. Obama they could push over but Trump so far has been a wall (pun intended) and it's either his way or the highway. They can't bully us now. I do worry about China however because they've been upset recently that Trump will not bow down to them. They might start something if given the chance.
We might go on the ground to exterminate ISIS in Syria and Iraq, but that's it. The absence of war will be a huge disappointment to 3 Republican members of congress and the entire Democratic Party. I don't know if things have changed by now in Germany ... when I served in the Army, assigned to temporary duty at the Schweinfurt Army Airfield, at times Germans came onto the base to make repairs. When they would have the noon meal, they openly drank quite a lot of beer. I never saw that happen in the USA for workers.
