Just a couple of weeks after Trump's fabricated, bigotted claim that he watched "thousands and thousands" of New Jersey Muslims cheering as the buildings came down on 9/11, he's back at it again, this time fabricating bigotted, racist claims against blacks:

A day after a black activist was kicked and punched by voters at a Donald Trump rally in Alabama, Trump tweeted an image packed with racially loaded and incorrect murder statistics.

The image shows a masked, dark-skinned man with a handgun and a set of points, ostensibly about deaths in 2015:

"Blacks killed by whites -- 2%"
"Blacks killed by police -- 1%"
"Whites killed by police -- 3%"
"Whites killed by whites -- 16%"
"Whites killed by blacks -- 81%"
"Blacks killed by blacks -- 97%’

The image cites the "Crime Statistics Bureau - San Francisco"

    Here is the image:

None of the numbers are supported by official sources. The figures on black-on-white homicides and white-on-white homicides are wildly inaccurate. And, as several news organizations quickly noted, the "Crime Statistics Bureau" doesn’t exist. ... The most glaring inaccuracies have to do with white homicide victims. Trump cast blacks as the primary killers of whites, but the exact opposite is true. By overwhelming percentages, whites tend to kill other whites. Similarly, blacks tend to kill other blacks. These trends have been observed for decades.

    ....

    Our rating: Pants on Fire

    (Emphasis added.)

Trump has, and is, repeatedly demonstrated himself to be a bigot and liar. First was his slur to demonize Latino immigrants, calling them rapists and criminals. A couple weeks ago it was his fabricated slur to demonize Muslims, falsely asserting he saw "thousands and thousands" of them cheering on 9/11, and now he's fabricating statistics to slur and demonize blacks.

And yet, despite this man's propensity to lie and his repeated demonstrations of bigotry and racism, the most recent polls show he has extended his lead among Republicans in the primaries.

And our conservative friends here wonder why some of us liberals suspect that there is a large segment of racists and bigots among their group?

Is this man really how conservatives want to portray themselves?

It's unfortunate that Donald Trump got the statistic wrong, because it would have really been helpful to highlight how much black on white crime exists in society. The progressive media doesn't like reporting on it and prefers keeping whites in the dark.

He didn't get it wrong. He saw a post which appealed to his bias and thought "YES!!!!!!! I Got it!!". Turns out what appealed to his bias was a made up prapoganda graphic of statistics crated by a Neo-Nazi organization.

This is a guy who wants to be President. If god help the world he actually obtains that position :)roflol:), do you want him making policy based off of crap he finds on Twitter and outright fabricated stories which his proof is "I remember it. . .and I have the best memory in the world". :roflol:

Think of the context in which he initially spoke about seeing 1000's of Muslims in New Jersey cheering during 9/11. This is on the heels of him suggesting that all Muslims go into a database and carry ID cards. He is using fake stuff already to attempt to justify policies he wants to implement as President. . even when proven 100% false.

He is speaking of US citizens. Accusing them of this BS. Based of complete and utter ignorance of reality. He still thinking and acts as if this is reality TV. His base is entirely comprised of people who think this is reality TV.

It's unfortunate that someone can lie this much and advocate for the murder of innocent civilians, and still have a base that supports him. Astonishing to say the least!

Conservatives repeated referred to Obama as a racist celebrity with little experience in politics, tossing out empty promises to an adoring crowd, and rightfully so, but who are they supporting to replace him? A racist celebrity with no experience in politics, tossing out empty promises to an adoring crowd.

You posted a link from a known lefty bias web site that used the image that Trump tweeted.

Trump did exactly what you did.
Trump tweets something coming from a pseudo source but did he make a comment on his tweet ?

    From PoliticFact:

At least PolticFact didn't say that Trump was making the claim but the "tweeted image" made the claim.

If I were to tweet of make a post on the PF quoting Barack Obama, does that make me incompetent, a community organizer who hates America and a psychopathic liar ?

Hey, racism sells. Apparently the GOPers gobble that shirt up. This is the clown that started off with his anti Hispanic rants. Why not continue if it works?

So you figure Trump knew it was racist bull(*)(*)(*)(*), but tweeted it out anyway?

I don't see that as an improvement.

To put it politely... Nobody gives a f#ck at this point about anything the Democrats and the Media (there I go repeating myself again) say about Trump. It only helps him, so if that's your goal, well then have at it my friend.

Liberals, if it weren't for double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all.

His "base" is gradually dwindling, including myself. I thought he'd be a man to stand up to cronyist Washington and to get real meaningful reform in regarding our borders, regarding our finances. And making America have a competent administration. He's right about one thing and one thing only: Washington politicians are useless.

    Unfortunately, so is he.

    Wow.

These forum are always informative of the kind of folks out there. It helps me to under stand how a a lying bigot like Trump can be the GOP front runner.

    - - - Updated - - -

You figure the political left is attractive to his racist bigotry? I don't. And I don't think he's polling particularly well with them.

LOL, that's a pretty funny thing for a conservative to say. All that whining about Clinton "lying" about the video, and here you all are supporting a blatant racist bigotted liar and its no problem. If fact you like it.

Just don't come back to us and tell us how we shouldn't support Clinton because your RW propaganda tells you she a liar.

I can respect that. Although the recent polls show Trump's lead is widening, so you seem to be a minority among conservatives.

No one has addressed my question, "Is this man really how conservatives want to portray themselves?"

But based on many or most conservatives' posts here (not yours), they apparently like the fact that he is a blatant bigoted, racist, liar; they have no problem with him portraying them; and in fact applaud him for it.

If Trump isn't doing well with the political left, then Trump is probably not incompetent and will put America first and will unlikely badmouth America while defending Islam while arming Al Qaeda and ISIS.

I and America can live with that.

They like the fact that he has a big mouth and isn't a "career" politician. Many on the Left/Right at this time hate politics as usual, and so we're looking for a mix of someone who can handle well-perceived problems while not bowing to those same interests.

In short, we're looking for a Populist. Something that's incredibly hard(if not impossible) to find in American politics. The closest thing for me is Marco Rubio. I think he'd make an acceptable enough President. If you lower your expectations from "Obama successor" to "Placemat for four years",. Rubio's effective enough.

I was a Sanders man(possibly, rather than Clinton anyday.) until he said what he said about Global Warming.

Frankly, the pre-2016 thoughts was "We don't want Bush/Clinton" and I think that's true for most of us. But given Trump's behavior, if heaven forbid he wins the nomination I'm probably pulling for Clinton. Not because Hillary has earned my trust. But because Trump is as dangerous as Ben Carson.

If you don't like Carson, you can't like Trump. It's sad, he started with momentum but now he's lost all hopes for my vote in the general election.
