Yup. Clarence Thomas has criticized the judicial overreading of its provisions. “Adopting the too-common practice of reading extra immunity into statutes where it does not belong, courts have relied on policy and purpose arguments to grant sweeping protection to Internet platforms.”

The problem isn't so much with the statute as the Court's previously overbroad interpretation of it. Justice Thomas is clearly signalling for a judicial review to narrow the immunity grant to what Congress actually wrote into law.

Properly read narrowly and tech firms have liability "for politically or religiously charged content-moderation decisions."
"Subsection (c)(2)(A)' should be understood as more "consonant with the ultimate end of the Communications Decency Act: combating online pornography. Thus" the "ambiguous provision" is understood "through the expressly articulated purpose of the statute: helping the Internet achieve “a forum for a true diversity of political discourse, unique opportunities for cultural development, and myriad avenues for intellectual activity.”
