Indeed. When black people get shot for just ignoring a cop, all the time. Multiple bullets are shot even. Also is done when they flee.
While white people can simply attack and kill cops, and no shots get fired at that point. (Just 1 bullet was shot when some woman tried to enter some room.)
The contrast of how the predominantly white police reacts to a black person who flees or ignores them compared to white people attack police could not be any bigger.

Not to mention that cops also kill black people while in cuffs laying faced down, in a public display for about 9 minutes.

I notice that there isn't a video of the "caning" in the link in the OP . Was this "caning" like the one in Saudi Arabia few years ago when there was an uproar in the west about the brutality until a video was published on the internet which showed that each whip was just a patting on the rear with the cane and the "caning" punishment was just to humiliate the ones convicted of the "crime" and not to cause physical pain.

So which republicans again? Any actual political leaders? Or are you simply making assumptions? I haven't seen anyone in the party defend this guy. Why not take a breath here. Ask why the democrats in the police union wrote this into the tactical ops manual for the force (which they did) and then ask why the cops shouldn't follow the ROEs that their union agreed to. Then, tell us why democratic city officials approved these ROEs, and why suddenly this offends you.

Not by me. But built into the rules of engagement that the police unions (democrats) and their city officials (democrats) approved. You seem unwilling to apply the accountability to those folks. why is that?
