Maybe if you two work together you can decipher the super complex chart that has a single data line.

But they DNC claim to be the tolerant ones.. Well then again they claim a lot of stuff that doesn't show in action but in thought only ;)

Well I can't help if you need someone to point out some bigoted post made over the last decade here on PF.. Denial is a fog that clouds the mind and apparently vision as well!

That's where most of us live.
The real point for posting the chart again was to show covid isn't responsible for the decline.

Well when you find one with a complete set of data points on how and why is has been diminishing in the U.S. then we can converse intelligently.. I gave you two very strong and relevant reasons, all you did was use someone else's incomplete graph whereas the U.S. religion is in decline is all.. On the other hand I have offered reason for it and that being Bigotry and shaming of those that disclose their beliefs...

Or were you just hoping everyone was going to clap and maybe say "Good Riddance, it's insanity anyway"? Granted that's a general reaction in most religious threads here on PF from a number of DNC aligned member.. But I just thought I'd add the biggest part of why this country is falling away from Christianity and why admitting to it is akin to societal leprosy in todays leftist world..

But I leave you to your work and sorry if the truth stings or disrupts the world you ascribe to..

No it's not reality, because the reason is not mentioned.. But isn't that that the leftist MO? Find something incomplete so it can be manipulated with personal, party or bigoted agenda..

God forbid honest discussing be had.. Oh damn I mentioned God

Are you claiming church membership isn't in decline?

Post your proof. If you want an honest discussion.

Wrong “d” word. Delusion is the one you are looking for if you think “bigoted posts” made here have caused a structural decline in religion. If you believe religion has declined due to animosity the general public has toward it maybe post some citations referencing that — until then, your opinion is noted. I disagree as it has no basis in reality or any literature I have seen.

Sure ... sure. Statistics can be the iedologues best friend. I mean to say, Christians often site the statistics that those who don't live together before marriage have a lower divorce rate, and those who don't have sex before marriage an even lower divorce rate.

And? Both of these items are fairly accurate according to most sources.

Were you trying to make a point?

I always marvel at Marxists who put faith in a "government elite" over God.....

Much attendance at religious centers is based on a sense of community. In modern America, that sense has become more vague and generalized, spread out by communications media into an amorphous cloud. That probable affects fellowship in houses of worship. The phrase, "think globally and act locally" doesn't apply. Reality is closer to "look globally and become too confused to act".
When people learn what is good for them, they learn to care for those around them.

Someone is surprised? The state and local governments basically put the churches out of business.

Interesting to note the drop in the late 1980's which corresponds to when the extremist rightwing Immoral Majority became a political movement.

The next drop in the 1990's which corresponds to when the extremist rightwing Immoral Majority impeached Bill Clinton for a BJ.

Then the steady DECLINE that started in 2000 right after the extremist rightwing Immoral Majority achieved majority power in BOTH Congress and the Oval office.

Hilarious, my point is your OP :)

And you're so argumentative you work like hell fighting your own narrative..

Do I need to recap the entire hilarity ;)

    They teach fear.
People don't want to be fearful, IMO. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.

Again, what does the “bigoted posts” on this site have to do with the global decline of Christianity?

Well might ask yourself that, you're the one authoring the thread?

Did you or did you not want to discuss the influences on the YOUNG.. How does a person that authors a thread not know what it's narrative is?

    Baffling

Finish the quote out “brought by negative messages from the church”. You are the one making up that quotes on this forum about religion not being up to your sensibilities is what is causing the decline. When asked for a source you try and act like it is in the OP (it isn’t). Most youth polled say it is hate coming from the church — not toward it.

You are usually really good at your game...
    What happened?

Ya so? I simply touched on how CHILDREN shame other children too.. You did want to discuss what effect children have on others children right? Or did you just want to beat down the church and their message?

I think I was right, you simply wanted to argue something so bad that your narrative was not really all that important..
