sour grapes, grapeape That's what responsible governments do during the time of crisis, they stimulate the economy. Duh A Biden government would be doing the same thing....except they'd keep the country under lockdown indefinitely and pump 3 times as much taxpayer money by now as this government has.... with smaller results to show for it.
Trump; “So glad this GDP number came out before November 3rd” _______ This GDP number is certainly not a WOW factor for the above average intelligent people. I’ve been creating threads about said record high GDP since May, thus, not a surprise to me, and not even great news. Very simple; Create a V shape recovery by keeping affected businesses and individuals above water before, during, and after the re/openings. What does V-shape recovery means? A positive rate equates to a negative rate.
Cases. At the point we had run 1.5 million tests which took almost the entire year, we announced that we were distributing 1.5 million more tests in the short run. Doubling the number of tests in a short period of time will make cases go up. Math. Tomorrow's main headline? Something that is Donald Trump's fault, almost guaranteed.
If you mean Pelosi...she passed two separate bills that never got a vote in the Senate. She tried negotiating with McConnell but "he doesn't do negotiation".
Simple math, such as; What also make cases go up is the percentage of tests that come back positive. Also, a week ago, (Oct 22nd) “current hospitalized” was at 41,010, today, 46,095 Thus, what Covid19 math increases Hospitalization?
No distinction between hospitalized with Covid and hospitalized because of Covid. A 70+ year old in poor general health could catch the flu and Covid at the same time. With pre-existing conditions, either the flu or Covid alone would kill them. That patient right now is classified as a Covid hospitalization.
90,000 infections and another ONE THOUSAND deaths Remember when you folks mocked Fauci for saying we were looking at 100,000 infections per day? We're there. Fauci knows what he is talking about Good thing Trump "took back the virus from the doctors" in April huh? He's got this SO covered
We aren't going to have a nation-wide hospitalization crisis. We will have local/county/regional outbreaks which can be contained and federal backup resources sent in, if required.
I'm just going to guess here. I honestly have not read this thread. There are Leftists in this thread singing the tune of negativity with this good news?
Pretty sure it's Pelosi. Saagar Enjeti: How Pelosi, Trump NUKED Stimulus Before Election And DOOMED Millions To Dark Winter
There are righties who are so desperate to sniff the Tangerine Turd that they've abandoned basic reality and mathematics.
I have an excellent memory; “There’s nothing wrong with Texas” When you posted said statement, Texas’ number of deaths per 1M pop; 70 Today; 635
Yes, the economy boomed in the Q3, people were out and about, and we paid for it with a new, record number of coronavirus infections as a result.
Yep. Border towns exploded with very sick Mexican nationals driving to the border and calling a U.S. ambulance for U.S. healthcare. We ended up having to fly people to hospitals in larger cities. It was very sad. Currently, El Paso, across the border from Juarez, Mexico is quarantined and under a curfew. Like I said, the virus is being managed by local/county/regional shutdowns instead of state wide shut downs. The governor has requested federal help for El Paso, and it was quickly delivered.
For your info, in ND, we have more cases because we’ve increased testing. Well, that’s an oversimplification, and here’s why; North Dakota October 1st Number of tests; 5,845 New daily cases: 372 October 29th Number of tests; 7,845 New daily cases; 1,233 In the month of October, we’ve increased testing by 34% However, our new daily cases have increased by 230% Now, said oversimplification is a reason why I don’t want to associate myself with the Trumpists. Their Covid19 math, correlations, and rationale SUCKS!
Is North Dakota conducting multiple tests on people like they are doing in Alaska? https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/202...ses-rise-some-dont-want-to-get-tested-at-all/
