why should I do what you never do-back up your claims with proof that actually establishes what you claim. You want to claim that the reason why red states have higher rates of gun deaths is due to "LAX GUN LAWS". You thus are CLAIMING strict GUN LAWS make Blue states safer. so show us WHAT gun laws do you CLAIM make those states safer and provide PROOF for your claims.

Actually, you are. You tried to insinuate that there are no laws against firearms-related crime by invoking, "Well there are laws against drunk driving."

This means you have no argument and can't explain why you're outraged about firearms and not alcohol in spite of that alcohol abuse kills far more in the US every year, hands down, no exceptions.

 

You can be outraged by more than one thing at a time. This is called whataboutism. By that standard we should not be talking about anything other than heart disease since it is the biggest killer in the US. But to do that and ignore everything else is ridiculous. This is a gun control forum. This is where we talk about gun laws that can save lives.

Good grief. SHOUTING at all the other stupid, dumb, dishonest, small minded cretinous people on the other side ain’t gonna convince anyone or do any good unless it’s to virtue signal.

Some people support gun rights, some want them banned, and few don’t really care.

I think that the Japanese have a much higher suicide rate than Americans and they do not have guns.

However guns make it easier to kill people so more people die with guns around. That is just true. I don’t think that the mere presence of guns automatically means We’re All Gonna Die!!!!

Instead it is the society. Americans have had a harder and harder time just surviving for decades. People are more likely to crack and start killing others if not themselves. Look at the various poverty and unemployment statistics and compare them with the suicide and mass shootings and there is a rough correlation. Although the rate of gun homicides have either been declining or more recently been stable for decades. It’s just the spectacular mass shootings and the individual suicides that gotten much worse.

Maybe we should ban guns, but that’s not going to stop all the other ways we as a society are self destructing. Guns murders and suicides merely are the most noticeable symptoms of our economic and social decay and until we deal with that arguments over guns does no good. What the laws actually are don’t mean much. If they did, Prohibition would have made alcoholism decline and not increase like it actually did.

BTW, it is not what party that’s important, but rather the level of poverty, corruption, bad government, and often bad police. The most messed up cities like Chicago, Baltimore, New Orleans, and Los Angeles, and the most messed up states like Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and Alabama are the worst for those reasons. Both parties have done excellent jobs destroying cities and states.

 

I really don't care what you want or need. Most of the posters know I am accurate and truthful. and you never ever prove your claims. You say "gun control works" but you never tell us what exact gun control works and how it works

Its not the gun's fault that American cities are full of immoral killers, what's the demographic breakdown of these other cities you talk about? You ignore every issue but the one that doesn't matter, guns...

There are a half dozen Central/South American cities that are way more violent than any American cities, that's not a black issue, but you played the race card. How can anyone take you seriously?
