Do you remember Clinton buying Russian disinformation and using it during an election?

She wants you to be obsessed with how bad life was for people hundreds of years ago so you don't focus on how bad life is for you.

Are you from Fort Lee by any chance? I used to live the same nightmare when I lived there.

Paramus. The land of many malls. When I left, the area was so congested. Route 4 and 17 were always backed up from 3:00-9:00PM as I neared Fairleigh Dickinson University. The only things I miss are Ramapo Mountains in Mahwah and that old Sports World on 17. lol

I was in Fort Lee a few weeks ago and the traffic on Rte 4 and 80 were at a standstill leading up to the bridge every day. And now it’s $16 for a regular car to cross it. The only thing I miss is the Italian food, which there is less of now since the Koreans took over everything.

This is not about Trump, 1/6, Trump, bad cops, Trump, or even Trump. So your favorite excuse of saying it’s common to compare presidents does not apply, not that it would stop you. This is about Harris who cried out for fwee dom when she was 3 years old and she only remembers that because she stole that line from MLK. And it’s about the same Harris who used to celebrate kwanza in California while she lived in Canada. This is about Harris, the woman who locked up blacks for doing the same things she bragged about doing. And most of all, she was that little girl who suffered from the racist policies Biden supported and made sure the entire country knew he was a racist when she practically said so on a nationally televised debate. Oh, and she also believes his female accusers.

As I've read, nobody is taught about native Americans burning off thousands of acres, driving entire herds of buffalo off cliffs, and slaughtering rival tribes.

Maybe the Native American would rather be handled by the Mexican government? Have they have shown to be much better at treating their native Americans than the US.

Of course they did. I knew one day the little old Korean ladies would get on their church buses and take city hall. I do miss good pizza. And Veggie Heaven. But it just wasn't worth it to stay in NJ. The rent was too high. The traffic was stressful. Everyone was sick all the time cause of the change in seasons, and it constantly smelled like fumes. I never walk around areas in FL and say to myself, "Is that **** I smell". The bridge toll is insane. I got friends without savings that live paycheck to paycheck in NYC and Jersey with salaries that would allow them to live like kings in the Sunshine State. I got my two best friends jobs in aviation with equivalent salaries. I'm basically retired. And then every winter everyone posts a picture of a national temperature map with everybody in the other states in sub-freezing temperatures while Florida is chilling in 72 and sunny.

That would go one of two ways: They would appreciate the joke, or it would be considered somehow racially insensitive.

The real answer to that question is: I like them so much I think all states should be able to have casinos if they want to.

Big deal. Everything I say is considered racially insensitive. When my wife and I were hoping to adopt we were ask if we would take a black child.

I said "Sure. I've always wanted a running back in the family."

Yep. And nobody ever discusses the pre-colonial slave trade among native tribes that was based on ethnic inferior. They had a very old testament form of slavery in more sparsely populated tribes cause they needed the sons to fight wars. A concept found in Leviticus. It was unlike the more brutal form of slavery practice in Aztec society, which was similar to Ancient Egypt enslavement. You know... The leader is God. Build me a monument. One day I'll make a meal out of your flesh.

I got a stop now. I actually like Native Americans. Some of the Seminoles are pretty cool bar toke buddies.

It looks like Harris was pandering politically to the group she was speaking to.

Am tired of the narrative that the European explorers were evil and the rest of it. Tribes, lands, and strategic strongholds have all been conquered by an invading superior tribe throughout time and throughout the globe. It is called reality.

I also believe that the US West was lost, not won, but that is another thread.

There are a lot of Native Americans where I live and they’re cool. They never bitch about anything and why should they when white liberals do all the bitching for them about things they never cared about? But that’s here. When I lived in So Cal the Indians were a bit more in tune with capitalism and making money, money as in casino money. There are some casinos here, mostly up north and one in Ruidoso and one in Sunland Park, but the CA casinos probably do a much larger business since the tribal people attached to the CA casinos take in big bucks just for winning the DNA lottery. I don’t know how it works here in NM.

First off, it is now, also, "Indigenous Peoples' Day."

Secondly, it is not very logical, from what you quoted-- Harris's very loose sketch, covering from early European settlers, onward-- to deduce that this would be intended to, or have the result of, fanning, "hate for the U.S."

Thirdly, the plight of indigenous peoples, including Amerindians, is no secret, at least to most of the world. So the choices are conceding the truth of things, mostly long-passed, or denying the facts, as if trying to justify all the acts because
    .

Let me ask you this, about some much fresher history. Which one of these do you think puts out a better image of the German people: their current leader acknowledging the evil of the Holocaust, or if their leader called it a hoax?

Acknowledgment is one thing, perpetual apology is another. At some point you have to just say, "our forefathers did some bad stuff. We apologized so get over it and move on."

If she really believed that she would give all of her property to the natives and leave this land forever.

    Therefore, she doesn't believe it.

No, it will always be "Columbus Day". Not Indigs Day.
