    The call to prayer five times a day, starting at dawn would be a bit hard to handle

    The problem which exists is that multiculturalism destroys democracy, and this mosque
    will go ahead, because an appeal to the Land and Environment Court based on discriminatory grounds will be upheld Therefore once again, the Anti Discrimination Act will be used to gain a
    "democratic" decision.
    But is it democratic?
    I feel this would be a classic example of the Anti Discrimination Act being used for the
    wrong reason. And there lies the problem.

    Well, all day on talk back radio I've heard Australians complaining about
    muslims....could we now say that Australians are now starting to wake up...
    we are not as naive as we once were when we were compelled by our Government
    to be tolerant and anti racist....not once did I hear a muslim complaining about the
    terrorist threats...cant they use a phone....

    For anybody who has Islamic friends there is an article by near death experiencer Kevin Williams that may help them to better understand the possible method whereby Islamic Mystics and Christian Mystics and Jewish Mystics begin to sound a little more New Agey......… and have the effect of somewhat pacifying the more militant segment of their respective groups.

    I believe Abraham said "good son and good Prophet" to The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)



    If more Christian Mystics and even some Jewish Mystics will begin to discuss the theory that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was in many ways a Prophet Like Unto Moses as well as perhaps King David or Elijah or the Patriarch Abraham reincarnated........ then peace will soon break out in the Middle East!!!!!!!!!

    Back in 1990 when I read an article on near death experience accounts I had to admit that perhaps my belief in "soul sleep" was a flawed theological doctrine.

    It is not easy to admit it when we begin to understand that our ideas are probably significantly in error.

    She claims to have done an out of body experience and travelled to the scene of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.

    What she saw could inspire people to begin to question the wisdom of taking religion to a place where it justifies violence!

    Actually.... I am hopeful that near death experiencer Mellen Benedict is correct about more light coming into all religious belief systems.

    Dannion Brinkley had two brushes with death. In one of them he was told that humans needed to begin to understand what we really actually are......… if we are to usher in a new age of genuine peace on earth....... I have serious leanings toward the idea that four dimensional space - time was invented........ and is somewhat like a virtual reality hologram................ We are not too many years away from needing to do something like this ourselves in order to test androids to see if they will be basically altruistic...… and not too greedy either!

    Yes........ but I take that as something of a compliment because if you had met me back in 1988 we might have been on a similar page on many subjects...… but I have gone further and further politically left and "universalist" since beginning to study NDE accounts rather obsessively.

    I consider them the clearest most easily understood theology - philosophy that I have ever read in my life. I highly recommend "Heaven is for Real" based on the NDE of then three year old Colton Burpo. Amazing stuff that has the power to help us get along significantly better.

    I just checked to make sure and yes..... that is the article where the lady met Elvis during her NDE............. it seems that time is entirely different in the higher dimensions that people go into during a brush with death......… so with nearly infinite time at his disposal Elvis or...… Ben Hogan..... have lots of time for pursuits like golf.... or even better!

    Metaphorically...… yes!

    Sex in the higher dimensions seems to be a bit like a "Vulcan Mind Meld" of Star Trek fame!

    While in the out of the body state we seem to be able to read the minds of others.......... and they can read ours as well....... people on a guilt trip tend to fear the being of light guy who reviews their lives with them...… so they run away from him and attempt to find buddies just as bad or even worse than they had been in order to make themselves feel better..... but this is not a great idea!

    Perhaps I am reading too much into this verse but my suspicion is that this sentence in the Catholic Bible identifies the Being of Light of NDE fame as none other than the Word - Logos - HaShem - The G-d of Abraham/ YHWH/ Allah!
