Even though Obama enjoyed a gain in manufacturing jobs during his tenure he correctly pointed out many would not be coming back due to the reality of economics. That is, it's cheaper to manufacture things in parts of the world where labor is cheap. It should be noted they came back despite congressional Repubs repeatedly blocking Dem sponsored legislation designed to give US companies incentives to keep jobs here.

if the government equals the playing field they could come back, I am not sure the best way to address excessive foreign outsourcing and excessive foreign outsourcing though, but those two things will destroy capitalism if not addressed

global corporations running everything and socialism will be the result of doing nothing

Hmm.. apply your own standards then, and your reflexive reply, absent any facts, vis a vis much less use of carbon based fuels. Golly. what a fun game.

So..........there's this thing called climate change..........maybe you haven't heard of it.

"Tar sands oil — even the name sounds bad.

And it is bad. In fact, oil from tar sands is one of the most destructive, carbon-intensive and toxic fuels on the planet. Producing it releases three times as much greenhouse gas pollution as conventional crude oil does."

Maybe LIUNA shouldn't have supported Biden in the election. 90% of their members didn't.

Nah... there's this thing called elitist abuse of science to shackle the world. You're on that team. We can play this all day. As bad as you attempt to make it, it just reflects the reflection of you.

Yet, Trump brought those very same corporations back to the U.S. from other countries. The very same ones Obama said would never come back. It's funny that you are talking about that it's cheaper to build elsewhere and hear Biden say he wants everything build in the U.S.A. Hilarious hypocrisy from the Democrats. Democrats are pathetic fascist and communist creatures.

why prices are rising, we are just now feeling the effects, thanks Trump

"Trump Forced by Oil War Into Unthinkable Push for Higher Prices"

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...l-war-into-unthinkable-push-for-higher-prices

"Donald Trump is trying to do something no U.S. president has dared to do in decades: Drive up the price of oil."

"Now, the Russia-Saudi price war and a killer pandemic have caused prices to plunge, putting Trump in the awkward position of begging those same countries to turn off the taps, even though retail gasoline will become more expensive as well. The U-turn comes as America has gone from being the top importer of oil to the top producer, aligning its interests more closely with Saudi Arabia and Russia in a shift that holds the potential to reverberate through foreign policy for years to come."

Why "buyers remorse"? Biden was clear on this. It is what the unions endorsed. Trade unions are dinosaurs who are still living in the days where Dems were supporters of the middle class. They should listen to their members.

Most Union jobs are temporary and all pipelines require maintenance. Tom Brady works at the super bowl more consistently than many Union gigs.

As my link earlier indicated, it did cause job losses in the United States. Also, it increased the national debt and created a catalyst to further increase socialist handouts to the agriculture industry.

Thanks for the cute meme though.
