They are just all lies and bullshit. It's truly amazing: Trumka was called to speak on Labor Day by Fox News’s Chris Wallace about one of his old bugaboos, NAFTA, and it’s obvious he doesn’t quite know what to say: He ends up mutter something that sounds a lot like he WANTS more NAFTA? That trade pact he’s hated for years and often said he wanted scrapped? Suddenly, he wants NAFTA. Talk about singing soprano. Let’s see him try to sell that to the hardhats. Then he gets even more Clinton-globalista, by saying he wants a deal that “works” for all the workers of the NAFTA area – Canadian workers, Mexican workers and American workers, not just American workers alone. As if what’s good for one in a trade pact scenario doesn’t mean some give-ups from another. Let’s see him try to sell that one to the Caterpillar-boot brigades, too. https://www.americanthinker.com/blo...s_against_trumps_stellar_record_on_labor.html
D's consistently makes complete fools out of themselves by acting as though their hatred of Trump is more important than the welfare of US citizens. It's amazing to watch them and their stooges in the media shoot themselves in the foot over and over again.
It's truly amazing. I sit in front of the TV laughing my keister off. The D's were against something until they were for it. And there he goes advocating for Canadian and Mexican workers. Unbelievable. But considering that some of the union dues collected in those countries go into their political spending it's not that surprising. Makes great campaign material for R's though.
And Walmart is used to people buying. This means that Walmart may have to make due with lower corporate profits in order to keep people buying and to stay competitive. If products are made in America, then more people have better jobs than some low-wage service job. This drives wages up as employers compete for workers. If illegal immigration is stopped, this also creates a shortage of low-wage workers, also driving wages up. That is backwards. "Free trade" has made the wealthy wealthier. The wealthy love free trade with no barriers. The average American is the one who suffers as our better jobs are outsourced overseas to China and Mexico. Seth
Free trade benefits the low income people via the law of comparative advantage. Lower prices mean more disposable income which is spent on US products or services creating jobs in the US.
so what; the right wing was starting to get excited when they thought we could simply use, "gunboat diplomacy" to make trade deals.
What it means is that all restrictions and tariffs on US exports must be removed. That is Trump’s objective.
