It's best to just give up on Trump's base (multiple meanings that) and spend a quiet afternoon at the library where you can be sure there will be no Trumpets to bother you.

Trump named White House physician Ronny Jackson as his choice to be the next head of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Jackson's main appeal to Trump was Jackson's performance at a news conference announcing the results of Trump's physical.

I'm saying not 1 1/2 years in to his presidency Drumpf's admin has created far more real scandals than during Obama's 8 years.

 

Could this get any worse? Trump's naiveté, inexperience, and stupidity in foreign relations makes him very dangerous. South Korea's Moon and North Korea's Kim are playing Trump like a banjo.

Kim invited Trump to a summit. Trump accepted Kim's invitation. Trump considers doing the bidding of a hostile foreign power a grand accomplishment. "KOREAN WAR TO END! The United States, and all of its GREAT people, should be very proud of what is now taking place in Korea!" Trump tweeted.

Trump saw Kim and Moon cross the DMZ together and back. He thought that was a marvelous idea. So, now he wants to hold the talks at Panmunjom so he can cross into North Korea, too. In other words, according to Trump, the American President is going to travel all the way to North Korea to sit down and chat with the North Korean dictator. That is embarrassing, and Trump is too stupid to realize it. Mattis and Kelly have to be gnashing their teeth.

The idea that Trump's acceptance of Kim's invitation would result in a diplomatic victory for Kim now becomes a diplomatic victory on steroids if Trump gets his wish.

Some are beginning to wonder if Trump will surrender the United States to Kim.

If anyone were to win the Nobel Peace Prize for the current effort to solve the North Korean nuclear problem, it should be President Trump. That’s what South Korea’s president said Monday when it was suggested that he himself should be in line for the award.
