    “The U.S. House of Representatives on Saturday with broad bipartisan support passed a $95 billion legislative package providing security assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, over bitter objections from Republican hardliners.”

    “The vote on passage of the Ukraine funding was 311-112. Significantly, 112 Republicans opposed the legislation, with only 101 in support.”

    There's already a bipartisan bill for the border. Unfortunately the rights mango god owns the GOP and refuses to let them bring it to a vote.

    The border security bill U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson offered to conservatives to win support for a major foreign aid package had not broken a blockade of the package by hard-right members late Thursday.

    The border security bill is nearly identical to a border security bill, H.R. 2, the House passed last year on a party-line vote that would reinstate Trump-era immigration policies. Including a border security bill was Johnson’s attempt to appease hard-right Republicans and win support for the foreign aid package many on his right flank oppose.

    Check out the vote on this. Is there any better demonstration as to how split down the middle the ‘governing’ party is at the moment…?

    Yes, someone please force Chunk Schumer to bring the HR2 border bill to the senate floor. It's already passed in the House, and the bill has some real teeth!

    This is a significant defeat forTrump and Putin, who succeeded in denying aid to Ukraine for months.

    When Mike Johnson got the funding bill through the house with a combination of votes from both parties, everything changed.

    ‘The Hastert Rule is over.

    And when Greene dropped another motion to vacate, he knew that he had nothing to lose.

    And when he signalled that he was going to move Urainevaid, Trump got Massie to back her up.

    It didn’t work.

    The only people that will die due to this will be Ukrainian and Russia. The outcome is pretty clear. Outside of foreign troops on the ground, Ukraine will lose and every month that passes weakens their bargaining position. People should remember that they had a chance for a favorable peace agreement at the beginning of the war which America/Britain scuttled.

    I applaud this Democrat politician for being honest. He hates us and wants us dead. We knew that already, it is just refreshing to see them say the quiet part out loud. They hate middle and working class people because they perceive them as a threat to their power.
