I was a Democrat and very loyal when I was in the Army. Frankly in the Army, I can't recall any republican taking me on nor did i take them on. Something about being a virtual slave in the Army kept this down. I drove a Jeep in the Army for maybe a month.

The Obama administration policy was, if you were close enough to be killed or wounded by a Hellfire missile fired from a UAV (drone) you became an unlawful combatant.

I didn't see where it came from, just that it travelled over my hood left to right. I was in a two person cargo Humvee, just me (the driver) and my TC. I was watching the road, and there was no way in hell he was going to shoot across me while we were driving on pothole hell that was Route Irish.

That is much more of the story than told at first.

First, when i was in the Infantry, I also got to fire the 3.5 Rocket launcher. So i know a bit about the RPG weapon. You probably were wise enough to realize if you kept rolling, you were a smaller target than a target firing is. Due to the racket of defensive weapons. I fired at moving targets pulled by a jeep. I was far better at it than the other men were alongside me also firing. I get it that it takes time to reload the launcher. it takes the second man loading the weapon. If one man does it solely, he has to stoop over to grab another round to put it onto the launcher. Then he has to locate the target, in your case moving and bouncing, and then aim again and actually hit it. He missed you.

When i was in the Army, and only in training, .... a lot depends on facts. Even then, one being fired at has next to no spare time to round up facts. That is why they train men to wage war. Even then, the training is not one that lasts a moment or two. My Army training never stopped when I was in.

I wonder if you actually asked him to explain to you if he wants civilians murdered? Maybe he just knew the reality of combat. That when being fired at, those who are targets do not take the time to debate if the fire has civilians around the shooter or perhaps they are the shooter support base. Civilians are used to carry ammo. Can you admit that much?

Since you say you drove the humvee. And you had a TC ???? alongside you. What was the view of the TC? Did the TC want to fire but you said hell no?
