Notice democrats don't complain about illegal immigrants jammed into already crowded schools and hospitals or using already limited resources.

1st story I found but I advise you educate yourself on what the people you support do before you look dumb whining about trump.

 

First of all, a wall is simple, as in keeping it simple. Second, once up it can't be defunded and expenses will be minimal. The wall won't call in sick, the wall can't be bribed, and the wall stops just about everyone except the most determined.

As I've previously said, if everyone in the caravan lined up shoulder to shoulder one foot from our border, how would electronics and border guards stop them if they all decided to take one step into our country? They can't and a wall does.

The more the left claims to be against the wall, the more I'm convinced they're afraid it will work.

 

And you obviously did not read the story because $300,000 to settle lawsuits involving sexual harassment at work is not the same as 17 million in payouts

 

There are so many ways around over, under, through a wall - not to mention that it will not exactly work on a river

 

As I've said before, any way under and over the wall would be a slow process as people would have to do it one by one, not truck loads at a time. And where the wall ends, that's where we put our border guards.

You guys were against a wall but are in favor of a fence. What's the difference? Both are meant to keep illegals out.

Going around/over/under takes time and resources, it limits the breadth of the invasion front and limits the invaders mobility, and funnels the invaders into whats called a fatal funnel, allowing American forces to concentrate and meet the point of invasion instead of having to man the entire border. A wall does not have to be impervious to do its job.


Rivers are a natural barrier that just need augmentation to impede swimmers and boats and subs. In many ways, its easier to barricade a river than a land route.

Military engineers regularly train to either install bridges or install obstacles to prevent passage on the river. It does not take much more than a few pylons and a few cables to keep small boats from passing. Expand the cables to include a mesh like a chain link fence with barbed wire and you stop swimmers. A footbridge over the pylons and a few guards with nonlethal weapons takes care of the few who think they will swim up and try cutting through the wire. It can all be built in a day or two. And if an invader is really persistent, a few bean bad rounds to the head and then drag him up and throw him in jail.
