    haha yeah...starbucks wont take a chance on racial profiling. If you claim to be black, your getting free coffee. Im going to go in as a white guy but claim to identify as a black woman and see if I can get a coffee and a cinnamuffin.

    she gave him a free coffee simply because he was black. Thats as racist as it gets. If I was black I would be insulted knowing that people think I need free coffee simply because I was black.

    They should. And when a Whitey doesn't get his free coffee too, lets watch that be ignored by all the same people and outlets who were concerned about the bathroom incident.

    He would have made a scene about how racist she and Starbucks are. It was racial extortion. Quite honestly, I think she did the right thing. She looks like a jackass for 60 seconds instead of letting him do something which would make national headlines.

    Why are you blaming the cops for that? They did their job.

    What a liberal sees: Cops got bored and checked every Starbucks they passed until they found one with two black dudes and went in to arrest them and then dragged them out by their cuffs while they were kicking and screaming. Manager is racist.

    What America sees: Two men walked into Starbucks and asked to use the bathroom. Not being patrons, the two men were turned away. The two men then sat down at a table without ordering anything so they were asked to leave, which they refused to do. Store manager calls police because the two men are now trespassing. Police show up and ask the two to leave as they were told by management. The two men, as police talked to them for 8 to 10 minutes, continued to refuse to leave. Finally, the two men stood up, the police put them in cuffs, and they all walked out peacefully and on their own.

    "WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?"

    I think that she (the clerk/ barista) was bullied & chose not to create another national issue over a simple cup of coffee.

    Since Starbucks closed for a day of "Racial Sensitivity Training" (or what ever it's called), I suspect that the white barista simply erred on the side of caution or followed a new company policy.
    After all, if your job is on the line & it's the only job you have, what would you have done?
