Oh? In 1964, the Civil Rights Act became hard-and-fast law. In 1965, the Voting Rights Act also became rock-solid law. Thus, for at leat 54 years, everyone has been treated EQUALLY.

With two exceptions:

1. The adoption of policies of deliberate Reverse Discrimination (a.k.a., "Affirmative Action") in which various kinds of preference are given to minorities over others, regardless of a person's individual qualifications.

2. A surprisingly large number of Federal Government contracts which are literally SET-ASIDE exclusively for "Minority-owned" businesses. Other companies and corporations are not even allowed to submit bids for contracts that have been SET-ASIDE entirely for minorities and "women-owned" companies.

That's the only official discrimination tolerated in this country in decades!

 

Don't think that white supremacists are "fringe" in US mainstream politics. One Trump is enough to turn US politics upside down. How many Trumps do you want to take control of US politics?

...On his fourth voyage Zheng He left China in 1413. After stopping at the principal ports of Asia, he proceeded westward from India to Hormuz. A detachment of the fleet cruised southward down the coast of Arabia, visiting Dhofar (Oman) and Aden (Yemen). A Chinese mission visited Mecca and continued to Egypt. The fleet visited towns along the east coast of Africa of what are now Somalia and Kenya and almost reached the Mozambique Channel. On his return to China in 1415, Zheng He brought the envoys of more than 30 states of South and Southeast Asia to pay homage to the Chinese emperor.

..During Zheng He’s fifth voyage (1417–19), the Ming fleet revisited the Persian Gulf and the east coast of Africa. A sixth voyage was launched in 1421 to take home the foreign emissaries from China. It's an interesting thing to watch... especially with regard to Poland. Huge numbers of Poles work in Germany. If they were suddenly told that their services weren't needed any more the whole country would become insolvent overnight. Who would they try to bum money off of next? The Russians?
