Which one will it be, GOPers? Vote for your choice... if you're not gonna vote for either "because Ron Paul isn't on the ballot" -- please don't vote in this one either. We'll just count you supporting Barack Obama's election.
Mitt Romney easily. He is the only GOP candidate coming in close to the president in polls. The GOP may like Gingrich but he has way too much baggage and in a general election with (ALL VOTERS) he wouldn't beat Obama.
Please show any corruption in Romney's History. Then ask you wife.."If you had an affair with a 25 year YOUNGER woman for 6 years in her bed at her home ..would she accept it ? " Ask Your party if you were so corrupt they would vote you out if you could then be president ? Ask The liberal press if they are going to back of Newt because he is so tough on them ? Do you have a revolving credit line for $ 200,000 necklaces ? In 2005 and 2006, the former House speaker turned presidential candidate carried as much as $500,000 in debt to the premier jewelry company, according to financial disclosures filed with the Clerk of the House of Representatives. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0511/55125.html Did you wife ever take you to court so she could pay her electric bill. Did your staff ever catch you "not having sex in a public parking lot with another woman " More on HER ethics..SHE served too... Gingrich, who represented Georgia in Congress for two decades, retired in 1999. But his wife, Callista Gingrich, was employed by the House Agriculture Committee until 2007, according to public records. She listed a revolving charge account at Tiffany and Company in the liability section of her personal financial disclosure form for two consecutive years and indicated that it was her spouses debt. The liability was reported in the range of $250,001 to $500,000. When asked by POLITICO whether Gingrich has settled this debt, and why he owed between a quarter-million and a half-million dollars to a jeweler, Rick Tyler, Gingrichs spokesman, declined to comment. No comment, he said in an email. An Ethics Committee manual that details disclosure rules explains that a revolving charge account is a credit card, and the debt must only be reported if the balance on that card exceeded $10,000. Being that Romney is the ONLY politician to even mention China, he would get my vote over Obama and Newt. But I will only give him 4 years to do anything about it. NO MORE 2 TERM presidents unless they do something seriously impressive. The trade deficit with China being cut in half would be a major accomplishment.
Romney is to much like Obama. I do not believe a word he says. Newt did good in the Budget as speaker I think he could help fix the economy and unemployment
You understand that the only reason Obama won was because of the youth and independents right? These are the people that want to vote for Ron. So them voting for Ron hurts Obama more than it hurts the GOP. Get off the guilt trip the media is putting out there of "A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama" nonsense. Obama will not turn out the ignorant supporters he did last time, there is nothing he can say that would drive them to vote for the worst POTUS in history again.
You mean other than Ron Paul right? Paul vs Obama = Obama by 5 Romney vs Obama = Obama by 1.5 Newt vs Obama = Obama by 11 Santorum vs Obama = Obama by 9 Newt is the worse off against Obama.
Iam not an expert in American Politics and I am not even American! but this morning I like Gingrich better!
I won't vote for either in real life but I picked Romney over Newt , Newt is a cheating liar and I hate that!!
I'm gonna have to go with Romney. Former governors make the best POTUSs, and I like the idea of a successful businessman in the White House. The economy is the prime issue. I wouldn't mind if either Paul or Gingrich were the VP. Paul on his support of the Constitution, limited govt, and individual liberty. Gingrich because he's so knowledgeable on constitutional law, history and his ability to take a firm lead with Congress behind the scenes.
LOL. I know right. Talk about a (*)(*)(*)(*)ty election. Like going to prison and getting to vote who rapes you.
Since I don't know enough about the topic.... could somebody please enlighten me and explain ( in a succinct, intelligent short post) why is that?
Just a little bit of the Newt....His own party abandoned him..."He was disciplined in January 1997 by the House of Representatives for ethics accusations, although a full hearing was avoided. Following a poor Republican showing in the 1998 Congressional election, Gingrich announced his resignation (taking effect on January 3, 1999) from the House on November 5, 1998, under pressure from his Republican colleagues."
