Really, your salary is not a lot. You need to figure out how to work smarter and not complain so much about the "rich". Also, how do you figure that you pay close to 35% in taxes. Worse case scenario is that you pay only 25% in federal taxes. http://www.mydollarplan.com/tax-brackets/ and that's without any deductions... If you have student loans, a mortgage, etc.. you have deductions. If you have kids, its even lower... http://sgpaction.com/content/tax-reform-whos-really-paying-their-fair-share At the end of the day, its sounds like "someone is jealous of other people's money"...
Well it keeps getting better. http://money.cnn.com/2006/06/25/magazines/fortune/charity1.fortune/ It seems that Warren Buffett has set up his estate so that when he dies he will take advantage of unlimited transfer tax charitable deduction loopholes. This means that the US government will be cheated out of about $15!!! So tell me again Warren how much more I should be paying in taxes?
Since Warren makes more than a million a year, why then does he evade the tax system while telling his counterparts they need to pay more? Is senility getting to him or is he just the picture post card for hypocrisy?
Great find! Obama's buddy, Warren, is two-faced. Some reporter should ask him how much money he spends on accountants and lawyers to find him every tax loophole there is? Of course, it would never allow it nor would he answer it. And that stuff about his employees paying a higher rate than him......he has the ability to raise ALL their salaries ten-fold if he chose too. Obviously, he prefers to leave them at the lower levels. What a creep.
No you're misunderstanding what he's saying. He's not asking for wealthy people to stop evading taxes but that the tax code itself be changed to take a larger proportion from those earning over a million a year.
Berkshire Hathaway is a publicly traded company. Buffet could not overpay taxes even if he wanted to as he's only one of many shareholders (albeit a large one). Buffet is talking about personal taxes.
