    1) I have voted for more Republicans in my short voting life than I have Democrats.
But I understand the need to label an opponent when you don’t really have a point

    2) She isn’t a segregationist, people evolve on issues — especially after 50+ years

    3) Southen Democrats became the modern day Republican Party

You use to be almost a pro at trolling, what happened?

0 proof to that claim what so ever. Pretty much just contradicting yourself between #2 and #3 at that.

Yes, in addition to the rest of the items you ignored

I never said you did, I specifically referred to trump supporters, I asked a question — if you are unable to answer that question because you are not a trump supporter then that is fine also.

    Reading comprehension.

Oh no it's not we have demonstrations all over this country trying to remove statues and memorials. Now try not to dodge this time should any memorials to her or statutes of her be removed?

Zero proof to what claim, point 1? You can watch the parties switch on electoral maps.
Which party represents the south currently? What area of the country supported slavery?

I’m not sure how 2 & 3 contradict one another.
    Feel free to elaborate

You seem to think you have photos of me participating in said demonstrations. I assure you that is not the case.

I'm supportive of the decisions of state and local governments to remove Confederate war memorials from their land. It is their decision and I think it is a good one. The war memorials commemorate people for acts of treason committed mostly to preserve the institution of slavery. This would be the equivalent of having a statue of this woman specifically commemorating her stance on segregation.

Now, if there is a statue of a Confederate soldier who happened to also be a great doctor and the statue is in commemoration of his actions as a doctor, then I think it is silly for someone to take the statue down just because he was also a Confederate soldier. If the statue is specifically in commemoration of the fact he was a Confederate soldier . . . engaging in treason on behalf of a state seeking to preserve the institution of slavery . . . then I'm more likely to see the owners' decision as a good thing. Same goes for a statue commemorating this woman's work on labor rights.

How about give us the name of those accounts.

    Not up to this point.

It's what Trump would like to do, but the country will not go for it.

Just because the region changed political affiliations doesn't mean the parties changed their ideology. The democrats had won southern states up to 1996 with Clinton. How is it that it took 30+ years for the south to change completely? The south had been changing before the CRA and the younger generation was to blame for that and. They moved into the south with the help of affordable air conditioning, and out populated the Dixiecrats while they died off. Are you telling me if the south were to go back to democrat control, the parties "switched" again? GA is close, FL is purple, TX is moving that way, North and South Carolina is also looking to go democrat soon. Your idea that the south is still as racist as when democrats controlled it is a poor excuse for believing the myth.

By saying "2) She isn’t a segregationist, people evolve on issues — especially after 50+ years

    3) Southen Democrats became the modern day Republican Party" That's pretty much saying that southerners are still in the same mindset they were 50 years ago just because the south is now republican, going back to democrat.

So are you in favor of removing honorees to this racist bigot or not? It there were one in your city ad an owner of it would you demand it be removed?

If the "honorees" are in honor of her actions as a segregationist, yes. If they are in honor of actions as a labor advocate, no. See previous post. It was all spelled out pretty clearly there.

Democrat myth. The Democrat segregationists remained, with rare exceptions, Democrats. When the Dixiecrats lost their bid they all whether back into the welcoming arms of the Democrat party. It was the Republicans who for 100 years had fought against them over their segregationists views and laws.

False. The segregationist REPRESENTATIVES mostly stayed the same party . . . which is par for the course. The segregationist VOTERS largely switched parties. There was a whole "Southern Strategy" devoted to this.

Ah yes, no one is representative of the GOP but events from 100 years ago — from southerners — represent the DNC.

    Round and round we go

I wasn’t aware the DNC had slavery as a party platform.
I live in the south. I know how racist we are.

That’s not at all what was “pretty much said”, what was pretty much said was that it is absurd to try to paint the DNC as a party that endorses slavery. Especially seeing that the location of the prior support — mainly the south — is bright read by all electoral measures.

Clearly, Fauxcahontas must appear before the People's Tribunal and denounced for hailing the racist Frances Perkins...

...but I suspect that she won't be subjected to the same treatment that Biden and others have received. That would be misogynistic....
