The Republican wannabes preferred by the media, and by liberals in general, are covered with so many warts Michele Bachmann should get the nomination by default.

I don’t know about others, but to me the very words “population control” is like waving a red flag in front of a bull. Population control is pure United Nations ideology right up there with global warming claptrap. In addition to Romney’s other negatives he takes advice from a guy who embraces both:

Politics is said to make strange bedfellows, but no coupling in our view is more bizarre than when John Holdren, now President Obama’s assistant for science and technology, once advised GOP presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney on environmental policy.

The more one learns about Herman Cain the more distance conservatives should put between him and them.

Cain reassures "free market purists" that the Treasury's stock purchase is "not nationalization because that would require government to own at least 51% of the entity for an indefinite period of time." (This is a relief, because some of us thought that government would use this foot in the door to force mergers, control salaries, and set lending rules. Oh, wait...)

Rick Perry’s poor showing in the debates is a tickler in an otherwise boring sideshow considering everything else he advocates. Reason #4 makes me think he, like Romney, would find an excuse to veto a bill repealing Hillarycare II:

#4 Rick Perry was once an enthusiastic supporter of Hillary Clinton's efforts to "reform" the health care system. In fact, Perry sent a letter to Clinton in which he made the following statement about "Hillarycare"....

“I think your efforts in trying to reform the nation’s health care system are most commendable."

14 Reasons Why Rick Perry Would Be A Really, Really Bad President

Newt Gingrich has been racking up negatives for so long he rates two columns. Everything Devvy Kidd said in 1996 is still true:

[I am traveling right now and can't do new columns while on the road. I pulled this one from my CD because Gingrich has fooled people for a long, long time. If Americans continue to support the same people who have taken us to the point of collapse, nothing will change. Make no mistake about it: Gingrich is a one world government advocate. This article was written in February, 1996. By necessity, it is two parts.]

To Gator Monroe: This excerpt from a terrific piece about the Occupy Wall Street protests might interest you:

“Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you,” - “Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you.” – Soviet Leader Nikita Khrushchev

And have you seen how the press is favorably reporting on the Occupy Now groups, while negatively reporting on the Tea Party which endeavored to point us away from this madness?

“The press is our chief ideological weapon.” — Nikita Khrushchev

“The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses.” - Vladimir Lenin

Obama is exactly who they have been waiting for to help usher in the revolution.

“There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.” – “To rely upon conviction, devotion, and other excellent spiritual qualities; that is not to be taken seriously in politics.” - Vladimir Lenin

“The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.” - Vladimir Lenin

As for the protesters? What did you expect? The educational system has been programming them with the liberal ideology. The leftists have been teaching them they are all winners, giving them all trophies, and programming them to think that they are so special and when things didn’t work out for them upon reaching adulthood, government will be there to take care of them. As a result we have a lazy, free loading generation of angry people and they have taken to the streets, just as they were taught to do through public education.

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” – “Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.” - Vladimir Lenin

The protesters scream and tell us “This is what democracy looks like.” And they are right, for democracy is mob-rule, and these mobs are out to crush the system, collapse the governments, and re-make the system in the image of the enemy we thought we defeated. . . communism.

“Democracy is indispensable to socialism.” - Vladimir Lenin

The people have spoken and they have democratically chosen global secular socialism. In government power they now trust - without God, without Faith, without virtue.

“Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism.” - Vladimir Lenin

The liberal left has propagated a lie, and now their deception has come to fruition. The Tea Party exposed the lie, and they hate the Tea Party for it. They have been exposed, and now they have no choice but to either crush all dissent, usher in a violent revolution, or both. It seems they have chosen the latter.

“The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”: Joseph Goebbels was born in 1897 and died in 1945. Goebbels was Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda

    Flanders ..

Are you saying association is proof of guilt ?

" On Jan. 1, 2006, Massachusetts became the first state to regulate CO2 emissions from power plants, something the Obama administration is trying to do to all states through the Environmental Protection Agency’s draconian job-killing regulations and mandates."
    END.

    From your link..
I personally find that co2 control is long over due..maybe you like watching rivers burn and smog filled sun sets? Fish unsafe to eat and air too poisonous to breathe ?
Calif has been testing co2 emissions in cars and trucks since the early 70's.It has worked wonders there..THE IDEA IS NOT NEW..and has a proven track record of results..
A conservative can be for regulation IN BALANCE with reality and cost effectiveness.
Drill baby drill with ZERO environmental control is not promoting conservative values..but just giving the environmental argument to the democrats without a fight.
They ( dems) have already taken civil rights and morality away..must we give military and social planks away without a fight ?

Romney didn't do it using the EPA or any draconian means or methods..he ruled Mass. by the way Mass wanted to be governed.
Who he asked for advice doesnt mean he slept with the guy or ACCEPTED all of his ideals.

By using such slanderous comments you belittle the person you seek to support.
But to your credit you just posted a link..and that's even worse.

To MnBillyBoy: Every environmental law and regulation originates with the United Nations. Most of the funding for environmental causes comes from the United Nations and global government advocates as does environmental propaganda. The EPA acts as a UN bureaucracy. In Romney’s case he is too intelligent not to know who he was doing it for.

Let me say this one more time for anyone who is not familiar with the environment and the United Nations.

No country owns the oceans or the atmosphere. The UN is an ORGANIZATION trying to claim ownership of both. Every politician who champions any environmental law or regulation is working for the global government crowd even if they don’t realize it. Companies that pollute in this country should be dealt with on a case by case basis in a court. The EPA denies businesses and individuals their day in court.

    Flanders..

I was not saying co2 was responsible for unsafe fish..but only a moron could believe that not regulating POLLUTION of every type is beneficial to us and the food and environmental we live in.

I lived in Southern Calif. for 25 years before smog pollution was addressed and co2 was tested annually on vehicles.
IT DIDN'T KILL JOBS as you posted..and it made the air better.
I can live with that..and I dont care if a republican or democrat takes credit.

This anti - Kennedy.. ant- Holdren stuff is beneath you.
It shows the divide we are allowing our selves to be sucked into.
    Our way or NO way.
But you're CORRECT in assuming Romney will ask for advice from everyone..and lead from the center. That's called REAL leadership..not phony pay for play politics. That style unites a country.

Your attack methodology is so typical of the religious right wing establishment attack the opposition using any means.
Exactly the same as the far left uses.
I hope we can make that obsolete after the next election.

    Oh,..you forgot Carter likes Romney..
I am sure that means Romney is just another loser.

    Flanders..
We are on the same page with regards to the EPA.
Congress is to set rules and laws..

" If you want to criminalize pollution and punish offenders in an American court of law I’m with you. But do not give the EPA authority to punish. Crime and punishment begins and ends with legislators and the law ——
    not a bureaucracy. "

By by- passing the rule of law..presidents can destroy the power of congress.
All presidents wish to diminish that power..

This president ( Obama ) has done more to make congress even more inept.

The rules I support come from the American people in each state..not some world body.

I believe Romney is on board with that idea..he will be asked in some future debate..but you have convicted him already based upon whom he asked advice and opinions from...not from his words or his past leadership.

You trust Bachmann.. Paul..and everyone without any evidence they will be better..??

oh..and a heads up... ethanol destroys engines..raising corn for fuel is a bigger joke than un leaded gas.

To MnBillyBoy: Perhaps you should have done a little research before comparing your trust to mine. I’ll let the folks who might be following this thread decide who to trust after listening to three videos:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8idV9eiYl2E&feature=player_detailpage"]Mark Levin On Mitt Romney And The EPA - YouTube[/ame]

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqjhJLxEAu0&feature=player_detailpage"]Bachmann: Repeal The 'Job-Killing' EPA - YouTube[/ame]

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOYY0Ra0Nxg&feature=player_detailpage"]Ron Paul: Energy Exploration is None of the Government's Business - YouTube[/ame]

    Research HR 1146.

In addition to Ron Paul and Bachmann dumping the EPA at the first opportunity Paul would get America out of the UN and the UN out of America. Get America out of the UN and the EPA is dead in the water until Congress finds the balls to abolish it. Better still, hope somebody asks Romney what he thinks of US membership in the United Nations.

    My suggestion:

Every Republican voter who is not firmly committed to one of the three media choices should vote for Bachmann or Paul in the early primaries. Sending the polls into a tailspin will keep Romney, Perry, and Gingrich hopping —— and the public will learn more about what they are getting than they will learn by anointing a RINO early on. The undecided can then either vote for the eventual nominee in the general election or not.

Frankly, I’m praying for an Open Convention.

The establishment wants Romney to win the nomination. Perry finishes in the kitchen, with Gingrich finishing on the back porch. Cain is no threat to the establishment; so he can easily move into win, place or show among the media’s choices. Right now, Cain belongs in the barn as far as the MSM is concerned.

After watching the video of Michele Bachmann on This Week, as well as analyzing the transcript, I am more convinced than ever that conservatives should come out in droves and vote for her in the early primaries. I do not see any hope of challenging the MSM’s choices in a substantial way should Bachmann not survive the first bunch of primaries; 8 or so. Ditto Ron Paul.

When Christiane Amanpour came up for air Bachmann finally got down to talking about important issues. Conservatives should be more than pleased with everything Bachmann said, but most especially this:

AMANPOUR: So, Congresswoman, you have just said that you would have all options on the table. Let me move on to Libya. You have said that you disagreed with President Obama, that Libya and the action there was not in America's national interest. So, as President Bachmann, if you had not taken that decision to lead and to support the NATO option, there would be presumably, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people dead in Benghazi, and Moammar Gadhafi would still be in power. Would that -- is that what President Bachmann would have wanted?

BACHMANN: Well, clearly, again, it was Defense Secretary Gates who stated that there was no American vital interest in Libya. That is the precursor for the United States' involvement in another nation's affairs. I believe that it was the wrong decision for President Obama to take, and he said that his reason for a United States involvement -- and he unilaterally made that decision, on his own, without going to Congress -- he made that decision, he said, for humanitarian purposes. But clearly this was about regime change. That was the focus of the president.

And so, now, we have a mess in Libya. We don't know who the ruling party will be going into Libya. There are some indications Gibril is an early leader, but we don't know if that's what ultimately will be. There's essentially a war right now between factions in Misurata and in Benghazi. So, this clearly is not settled, what the leadership or what the future course of Libya will be. There's tremendous uncertainty and chaos. And of course, when there's uncertainty and chaos in a nation, that's when you see trouble and potentially extremist elements that could come into power. That would not be good for the United States' interest in that area.

AMANPOUR: Again, just briefly, Moammar Gadhafi, who launched terrorist plots and acts against the United States, is no longer. So now that we see the end game, you have seen what happened, would you basically still say that given the relatively minor U.S. involvement, about $1 billion and only supporting aircraft, no boots on the ground, that it wasn't worth it? Is that still your position?

BACHMANN: My position is that the United States should not have gone into Libya, because, again, the last chapter isn't written. This is a snapshot in time. There's tremendous instability in the Libyan region, and we have seen continued deaths and fighting. And this will not end any time soon. So there remains a struggle for power. And again, this is the issue now in the Middle East region. Who will ultimately hold seats of power? Egypt yet is unknown, who will ultimately control that seat of power. Will it be the Muslim Brotherhood? Will it be extremist elements? And of course, that's true in Libya as well. Will it be extremist elements that rule? And in Libya, this is very important because of the oil revenues. And oil revenues, as we know, could potentially be used to further finance a global caliphate and extremist elements. So this is far from settled in Libya.

So far, Bachmann is the candidate I trust the most; the one who won’t weasel out when the going gets rough. That’s why establishment Republicans fear her as much as they feared Sarah Palin. Let me close my support for Michele on a musical note that says it all:

I agree with you that Bachman is one of the more Conservatives left in the field, but you know she won't get the nomination, and in fact is sinking rather fast in the polls. I see Santorum as also being very Conservative. Did I read you right in that you say Gingrich is among those you place in the moderate or RINO class along with Romney? Gingrich to me is the most Conservative left in the field, and I see him gaining more popularity as compared to Bachman's slippage. Perry is toast.

While I do like Paul's overall views on the economy as such, I see him as a total disaster concerning our military and foreign affairs. With those two issues Paul looks and acts like a lefty. And if Paul decides to run as an independent, that would basically seal up another 4 years for the messiah.

So far, the only one who looks to be able to beat obama head on according to the polls is Romney. Who exactly is your choice to represent the Republicans in 2012? Be realistic now.

To Libhater: Realistic or not, I’ll stick with Michele. Ron Paul is second choice based solely on his HR 1146. The instant they drop out it’s RINO-time, or to be more accurate death-by-inches-time. When they’re gone I’m gone.

Look, from the moment the Tea Party came to town and presented the mantra of lets work to defeat obama--with that mantra being backed up by Mitch McConnell, the focus of all Conservatives/Republicans/RINOs/Moderates and alike should be to honor that request. Look, if I had my druthers, I would be happy to support any of the true Conservatives like Santurum, Rubio, Ryan, Gingrich and or Bachman, but I deal in reality, and reality tells me that despite not having a Reagan-like candidate to choose from, I have to vote the mantra with Romney. If too many people take your attitude in sitting out the election, you can bet your last dying dollar that we'll have 4 more years to witness the completion of a socilaistic society under this crazy potus. It isn't a matter of being realistic or not by knowing what damage will be done with another 4 years of settling for the status quo.

Perhaps if we had a Republican president, the chances of getting oil revenues from Libya would have been a reality. So what Michelle was saying was that under her presidency we wouldn't have taken an outside approach to taking Qaddaffy Duck out without first getting compensated for our investment via the oil in the process. What a brilliant woman...wouldn't you agree?

To Libhater: I think you and many other conservatives are placing so much emphasis on the presidency you’ll settle for a media-approved RINO.

It is Congress that runs the country. Presidents are basically salesmen for their party’s domestic agenda. A president can veto a bill, beyond that he does not have much power. Note that it was Pelosi and Reid who rammed healthcare through knowing that a majority of Americans opposed it. But it is Hussein who is getting blamed because he sold it and signed it. Remember that presidents are only there for 8 years at most. Members of both house stay for decades; so the media goes along with keeping the public’s focus on the president.

Incidentally, compare how little Speaker Gingrich got done for conservatism to the stuff Speaker Pelosi got done for socialism. Go even further and compare Bush the Younger, Dennis Hastert, and Trent Lott/Bill Frist in charge of both branches to Hussein, Pelosi and Harry Reid in charge of both branches. Republicans either could not, or did not want to, do things a majority of Americans were for, while Democrats passed garbage a majority of Americans opposed.

Frankly, I’d rather see Hussein in there instead of a RINO —— but ONLY IF BOTH HOUSES ARE TOP HEAVY WITH TRUE CONSERVATIVES. In that scenario, every time Hussein opened his lying mouth conservatives could shove it up his rear end and break it off. That won’t happen with any of the MSM’s choices. It will be the same old crap about bipartisanship and blah, blah, blah.

To Margot: It’s stupid of you to take Michele’s comments out of context. Her position is absolutely the correct one for all Americans not just conservatives:

BACHMANN: My position is that the United States should not have gone into Libya, because, again, the last chapter isn't written. This is a snapshot in time. There's tremendous instability in the Libyan region, and we have seen continued deaths and fighting. And this will not end any time soon. So there remains a struggle for power. Anybody who wants Muslim extremists to control all of that petroleum wealth is either a fool or an anti-America Muslim.

The articles in the two links will not sink Romney or Perry, however, the details offer reason enough to vote for Michele Bachmann in the early primaries. Nothing will put pressure on the MSM’s choices more effectively than Bachmann winning some important primaries. It would be even better if Michele and Ron Paul finished one/two in the early going. Serendipitously, media mouths would find themselves in deep do-do with their bosses.

This has nothing to do with the media. And since when is the media approving of Romney? Romney is the one guy that the media knows will beat obama, and thus they do all they can to highlight Mitt's negatives.

What you seem to be saying here is that you've washed your hands on the upcoming election altogether. If the presidency isn't that important to you, why are you so determined to bash Romney the Republican frontrunner, knowing (*)(*)(*)(*) well that the alternative of having 4 more years of obamunism may very well destroy our status as a nation in so many fields? If Romney becomes our next president, its most likely he will be dealing with a Republican Congress and a Republican senate that would make passing any reasonable Conservative backed bills a reality. Mitt's 57 page plan for our economy is very impressive..especialy with what he wants to do in freeing up our energy reserves and becoming energy independent from the foreign cutthroats.

The people you mentioned from congress are no longer there. There is a whole new set of Tea Party faithfuls residing in congress now. I disagree with you about Gingrich. He managed to get a budget passed and the 'Contract for America' despite having Clinton posing as president during the process. I'm reading Gingrich's book..."To Save America", and it is an eye opener for sure. He has more solutions to getting America back on track in a sensible Conservative way than perhaps even Reagan did. Its a must read, and I'm still hoping Newt climbs back int this race. By far the most intelligent man out there.

As much as I hate to see a RINO in there, and I don't view Romney as being this RINO you speak of, I simply part company with you on your surrender to this current CIC (Charlatan-in-Chief).

To Libhater: Media decision makers do not pick the Republican candidate based on who the Democrat can beat. They pick the Republican candidate based on who is an acceptable replacement for the Democrat. Romney, more than any other wannabe, fits the bill.

The US has NEVER gotten oil revenues from Libya.. Libya gets oil revenue from the seven international oil companies that are operating in Libya..

And Bachman is a very stupid woman.

Whatever, I could care less what the media does. All I'm concerned with is getting a Republican into the oval office to join his Republican controlled senate and congress so as to start our path back toward a roaring economy, and Mitt is the man.

Tuesday validated my claim: Conservatives are putting too much emphasis on the presidency. The media is focusing the public’s attention on the Republican wannabes; hence, media misdirection helped Democrats land sucker punches all over the place:

There is one bright spot in all of this:

    Conservatives organize to defeat Romney

Conservatives, and Tea Partiers in general, might be able to force an open convention if they help Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul knock off the media’s choices in the early primaries. That, too, has been my claim for many months. I know I’d like to hear the delegates call for Sarah Palin at a deadlocked convention. Admittedly, that’s pretty far-fetched, but it is a beautiful scenario to hope for.
