Trump made the off-hand remark at a fundraiser for the National Republican Congressional Committee. As he often does, Trump attacked wind power as an energy source. (We checked his recent Mostly False claim that it leaves electric grids at the mercy of the wind.)

"If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value," Trump told his fellow Republicans April 2. "And they say the noise causes cancer."

We asked the White House for evidence that wind turbine noise causes cancer. We didn’t hear back.

The health impact of wind turbines has been a topic of much conjecture. The Australian parliament took the question seriously enough to form a Select Committee on Wind Turbines. The group was sympathetic to personal reports of discomfort, and the list of ailments it heard was long: "tinnitus, raised blood pressure, heart palpitations, tachycardia, stress, anxiety, vertigo, dizziness," and more.

But no one complained of cancer. In its final 2015 report, the committee said more evidence was needed to establish a link to any illness.

How is a comment about White people racist? That is they are Hispanic, of the heritage from Roman name for the Iberian Peninsula, and those people are White. If a person in a country where people are referred to as Hispanic, does not match the criteria of white, then doesn't the terminology follow the rules of the U.S.A.? For example one from Columbia? African-American or Jamaica, African West Indian?

 

I listen to him talk. MSM doesn't play his many news conferences or when he talks. They prefer to wait til it's over then capsilize it with their own slant. I am not going to go and recover those for you. I know my President. You know your MSM.

 

You can describe anything as "bigotry". Be more specific. You know being so racially sensitive means race is your main focus. That in itself is racist. Do you think black folks should be upset with Tylenol because they have to pick cotton to get to the product?

As I understand it though the thought process is, minorities can not display prejudice or racism towards whites because whites “have all the power” or some such mess. Apparently you have to be “in power” to be racist. It’s failed logic at best, it’s utter racism itself at worst.

I think that is the same for me also...I view things from a different view point. It's similar to what you shared in a way that makes me laugh at the absurd and for something different, I'll have normal.

I believe that any attempts to classify people other than human first, or on a political sense to make laws pertaining to specifics that not everybody can be is wrong, such as laws pertaining to LGBTQrstuvwxyz, you get the point, in that why should hitting someone who is LGbtryuz...whatever, be any different than hitting anybody else.
