I don't know. But you post as if you DO, and you assert that this is a RW plant. And don't think I didn't notice that you went from them being RW planted professional agitators to simply "Planted agitators."

    Furthermore, you say you won't answer US Con because he didn't back up his assertions. Fine. But I've never started any Biden threads so you don't have that excuse to use against me, and now I'm asking you to back up yours. So once again - Prove they're RW plants, AJ. And if you don't, I'll just keep reminding you that you can't back up your claims, much as you just did with USCon. Because if it's fine for you to do it, it's fine for everyone else.

    The full quote is "The answer is I would, but I can't think of one now," Biden replied. "Let me explain that. You know there's some really decent Republicans that are out there still, but here's the problem right now ... they've got to step up." So I mean, yeah - he's saying he WOULD. Not that he WILL, because no one has yet to "step up". He's made a qualifier there. Biden did indeed make the quote, although let's face it, the odds he actually would run with a GOP VP are slightly lower than Lindsay Lohan being sober at this very moment.

    Sure she could, the one she's 1/1024th blood related to!

    The problem with that argument is that there are too many OTHER suspects that MIGHT have a motive to make Biden look bad at this point. I think a month ago we had @Hand Solo going on about how Biden was not Trumps "political rival" so if we believe him, it would be the other Dems fighting for the nom that would be more likely suspects as they are the more immediate threats to him. "Hand" was a LW poster so I would think that would give his opinion some weight with you.

    Furthermore - and I just looked it up - To prove res ipsa loquitor negligence, the plaintiff (Biden or the posters here stating the RW planted this person) must prove three things:
    1. The incident was of a type that does not generally happen without negligence. Hmm - maybe.
    2. It was caused by an instrumentality solely in defendant’s control. If Trump is the "defendant" it is not. Too many other parties can control someone showing up at a Biden function. In order for this to work, you have to prove Trump was the sole instrumentality behind the plant being there. So far, this remains unproven, so it immediately fails. At best, the argument becomes Circular Logic. "The RW is behind this!" "Why?" Because I say the RW is behind it!"
    3. The plaintiff did not contribute to the cause. Well again, we have AJ stating that this happened because Biden did not have adequate security/screening of the crowd. Given it's a pretty small crowd - *shrugs * won't work either.
    Put simply, that legal argument would not work. There's not enough circumstantial evidence that can be placed solely at any kind of RW agency for this argument to fly.

    Or even put ANOTHER way: "Qui Bono" - who profits? Well, any one of a number of people profit by Biden looking bad. Right now, the biggest among them would be the rest of the Dem candidates polling under Biden for the nom.

    Well done.

    The only logical counter argument I would make is none of the other D candidates are going to disrupt his event by going the "Kiddie Diddler" route. They would zap him on Iraq war or age or gaffes or something else slightly more dignified.

    Well, thank you for the compliment. "Qui Bono" is one of the few I know, and that only from a comic book!

    But, y'know - it's possible a plant might not get specific instructions at all, assuming it WAS one. I mean, assume he actually WAS a plant, so f'rinstance - Warren maybe had someone hire said plant thru a third party so there's no traceback to Liz with the instructions "Just disrupt the place," and he ran with whatever popped into his head. There's no real way to know - which was my whole point, you have someone making the assertion that this was a RW plant when there's no (currently available) evidence at all it was. My Warren scenario has no proof at all to it, I just made it up. Is it possible? Sure. But if I start making assertions that it happened, I'd better be prepared to back up said assertion. I can't (unless I admit I'm just spitballing) - so I won't.

    This is why I like debating with you, because even though you and I don't agree on much, you will back up your claims. Others - just make claims and vanish.
