You don't think organized premedatated violence is different than random, or spontaneous acts of violence? These protesters came looking for confrontation, and not confrontation with an opposing organization. They "profiled" potential "enemies", and created a dangerous scenario for themselves and the people they targeted.

 

To be honest, as much disdain as I've seen he / she exhibit towards American institutions and policy, cant believe he / she is still in the country. The American dystopia he / she describes would lead one to think the US is akin to an Arab Emirate.

Sure ... random group of folks out for a stroll in traffic. I see you keep falling back on C'ville. Here are the problems with that argument. Torch lit vigil by the statues preservationists went peacefully, sans opposition. The rally was planned, and prepared for, to include the legally required permits. The police out in full force failed to maintain safety, which is EXACTLY the problem in Portland's incident. Protesters on the left insisted on dueling demonstrations in C'ville. In Portland the protesters weren't even provoked by anyone. It was not spontaneous, and they did intentionally confront people at random. If anything should have been learned in C'ville, the lessons were lost on the part of the leftist agitators.

If the Chief of Police says it was a bio hazard then it was a bio hazard. The Chief of Police is an official that said that it was a bio hazard in an official news briefing. Is it your belief that feces isn't a bio hazard? If so I guess you would agree with the mayor of Portland who has no problem with people taking a dump wherever they feel the urge.

 

The disdain is to false untruth fabricated threads like this one. And the disdain you folks show towards Americans in general. But especially if they aren't white.

The thread is about Antifa, a group the Obama administration was extremely worried about. They've proven to be nutjobs who disrupt society. They aren't peaceful protesters.

The thread is about a protest in Portland.
It was a protest of family and friends that the police killed about 1 week earlier. A black man.

ANTIFA was there and yes, there were people wearing masks. Go watch the videos and the photos from that day. ANTIFA uses any excuse it can to get out and cause civil discourse.

But that doesn't explain the "protesters" blocking innocent vehicles from traveling down streets that are not blocked off by law enforcement.

But the article talks about it.

"We're not here to riot. We're here for justice," said Charles Kimmons, a family member. "We need to fight this all the way to the end. These cops need to be locked up."

The group then marched back to the parking lot where the protest began, where they blocked Southwest Fourth Avenue but directed traffic around the demonstration.

Protesters mixed with traffic, mostly without incident, but reporters for Oregon Public Broadcasting and KATU-TV said a driver struck a protester near the Justice Center and drove away. The protester was not seriously injured.

 

Antifa is no different than any other terrorist or extremist group. They want to instill fear, or chaos.

We don't really need to go into a battle of Antifa's actions, do we?

There absolutely was video of the masked protesters in the very first post. For the life of me I can figure out why you're defending Antifa, because by doing so you want us to believe that average, every day liberals dress in black, wear masks, carry weapons to a protest, intimidate, curse and make racial slurs to elderly people who just happen to be there, and illegally take over streets.

Is that what you consider to be today's average liberal, someone who could be you, your husband or one of your kids?

 

My dash cam and my phone camera would be rolling. I would not obey their demands and we would sit there until the police arrived, they let me pass, or they attacked me.
