Only if those statues carry a criminal penalty right?
Yes nobody got that rich without cheating. That’s already more cause that trump had.
My point being the gop is saying abuse is power is fine. Which seems like a bad idea.

They aren’t claiming abuse of power is not impeachable? If it’s not, then it’s allowed.

So basically it has as much authority as something I'd draft.

You can just admit he ignored Congress, because that's what happened.

Maybe if he slips the waiter a $20 for a nicer table you can get him on bribery this time.

No, if it’s not covered by a criminal statute, it’s not impeachable. Bernie can tell the irs anyone who makes over 10 million should be audited. Abuse of power isn’t illegal, so it’s not impeachable.

Did you read H.R. 1191, the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015? Obama considered vetoing it, but decided it was the best he could do and if he wanted more from Congress, he'd face a veto override. Did you miss that vote? 98-1 in the Senate and 400-25 in the House.
    Do the math.

If it's the President exercising his constitutional authority in a legal manner it is not an abuse of power.
