    And?

    No, it's not the Duty of a US President to root out corruption in another sovereign state. Its the duty of that states leader.

    Also, Biden potentially breaking laws (which ones again?) Doesn't automatically mean Trump didn't break any laws by withholding aid. Both can be objectively true at the same time.

    That's a valid point.. knew that was you without checking the author..

    All I know is it was the policy of the ENTIRE govt and much of Europe to get that man removed for failing to address real corruption in that country...

    Good policy?? Certainly debatable, but I generally accepted the Obama view of the world..

    Comparable to this scenario?? Only at a brief glance..

    His job today was to confirm that Sondland was the one getting the marching orders directly from Trump, including adding this new wrinkle about the 7/26 overheard phone call..

    I think you are confusing something Trump said 'today,' which is that there was a second call.....one which preceded the July 25 call. He said he would release details of that 'second' call on 'Thursday.'

    Senator John Cornyn (R., Texas) told reporters on Wednesday that Senate Republicans lack the votes required to immediately dismiss articles of impeachment, should they be approved by the House.

    “There’s some people talking about trying to stop the bill, dismiss charges basically as soon as they get over here,” Cornyn said in comments reported by The Hill. “I think that’s not going to happen. That would require 51 votes.”

    “I think it would be hard to find 51 votes to cut the case off before the evidence is presented,” Cornyn continued.

    What foreign policy was that? Our foreign policy that supported Ukraine with arms and aid, in their war against Russia or the one that required them to publicly announce an investigation into a Trump political opponent and another investigation into the origin of the DNC and Clinton campaign hacked e-mails, in order to obtain the Congressionally appropriated funding?
