    Instinct to hide the gun. I have been in a very similar situation, and I still remember my thoughts. At the very second I realized cops were in my house my overwhelming thought was to not allow them to see me with this weapon. That thought, for a couple of seconds, was the only thing on my mind.

    No, it's right there in the footage.

    Because I put myself in his position, so should you. Look at the evidence, you must only watch from the cover officer's viewpoint,

    Plenty of suicidal people out there! But this wasn't suicide by cop, I agree with you the cover officer acted without malice to save the life of the contact officer whom the suspect was raising his gun towards. Check out Derideo Te's posts and you'll find people are counter your opinion.

    WRONG again!

    My posts ALIGN with those of MJ Davies.

    It is ONLY your untenable opinion that is being COUNTERED by a significant MAJORITY of others posters in this thread.

    Of course it is, you see him bring gun around from the small of his back to his side towards the contact officer.

    No they don't, you keep saying this was murder, he's having empathy with the officer. People are supporting me because I'm right and you know it.

    Kneejerk denialism on your part does not alter the FACTS one iota!

    The KILLER cop MURDERED the unarmed VICTIM in BOTH videos.

    No, these are the facts, he murdered no one, this was a reasonable act from his point of view and we can only see things from his viewpoint.

    Kneejerk denialism on your part does NOT alter the FACT that the KILLER cop MURDERED the UNARMED victim as shown by the EVIDENCE in the VIDEOS.

    Well get on the streets and organise a protest then. Perhaps whites are complacent?

    No, not VIDEOS, VIDEO, you should only watch things from the cover officers viewpoint, that's the important bit, in that footage he can only see the gunman bring the gun around towards his oppo.

    BOTH videos PROVE that the KILLER cop MURDERED the UNARMED victim.

    FACTS matter!

    Facts do, hence why you should only watch the cover officer's video because he cannot see things from the contact officers point of view. Essentially this boils down to 2 questions;

    1. Did the cover officer genuinely think the gunman was pulling the pistol on the contact officer?
    2. Was this belief reasonable?

    The answer in both cases is clearly yes.

    The KILLER cop PANICKED instead of using his TRAINING and VOICE commands which means that he MURDERED the UNARMED victim.

    No he didn't, answer my questions, did he honestly believe the suspect was about to shoot the contact officer and from his perspective (and his alone) was that belief reasonable?

    He PANICKED and instead of following his TRAINING he MURDERED the UNARMED victim is the ANSWER that you REFUSE to acknowledge because you cannot bring yourself to accept that he KILLED an INNOCENT person as PROVEN by the VIDEO evidence.

    Old legal maxim;
    1. If the facts are on your side argue the facts
    2. If the law is on your side argue the law
    3. If neither are on your side bang your fist on the table and scream and shout and bluster!

    So which one are you doing?

    So I'll ask you the questions again and try to reply to them rather than squirm away, did the cover officer shoot because he genuinely thought the gunman was going to shoot the contact officer and was his belief reasonable from his viewpoint?

    Since NEITHER the FACTS nor the LAW support the KILLER cop MURDERING the UNARMED victim it is clear that only one of is pounding the table while screaming and blustering and I KNOW that is NOT me that is doing any of that BECAUSE I have the FACTS and the LAW on MY side.

    No, that's just you floundering, answer my questions;
    1. Did the officer genuinely think the gunman was about to kill the contact officer?
    2, Was his belief reasonable in the circumstances?
