    This sort of BS is always thrown around as a justification for perpetual war for profit.

    Tulsi is 100% spot on.

    I feel like the left and right have switched sides on so many issues and this is becoming one of them. The left of 2005 would be ashamed of what it has become today.

    I think perpetual war is excellent economic stimulus as the marginal propensity to consume is greater among soldiers and defense manufacturing than among hedge fund managers, and that this is the primary but not sole reason for our involvement in the Middle East going back many decades.

    The humanitatian justification serves more as a propaganda tool than a driver of policy.
