They couldn't pull off what they want without the state.

I heard ya, I merely do not agree that no state equals no similar threat. Anarchism is not a new political thought paradigm.

Currently, only the state is considered to have a legitimate right to initiate violence against peaceful people. It is a criminal gang writ large.

That our largest and most powerful corporations are multinational? Indeed.

The politicians own the wealthy. It is they that control the instruments of coercion and force: legislation, the police and the armed forces.

How may corporations have their own standing army? While crony capiltalism is definitely an issue, it would not exist without the politicians to tender favor.

So you oppose ours then, since you consider it a criminal gang writ large?

They answer to the donor/Wall Street/"job creator" class who would like nothing better the a dyfunctional nonrestrictive political system to operate in, which is why they bought ours.

They are connected my friend, no way around it. Endless war is now required to prop up american style capitalism.

Again, you have it backwards. The political class is what controls the instruments of coercion and violence. The is why the corporate class lobbies for politcal favor.

No, but it does seem the only way to keep muslims and other enemies of America from successfully waging jihad against us

The serious thinking left used to understand the nature of the state.

"'The eradication of state power' which was a 'parasitic excrescence'; it's 'amputation'; it's 'destruction'; 'state power is now becoming outmoded'; these are the expressions used by Marx about the state when appraising and analyzing the experience of the commune." All this was written a little less than half a century ago; and now it is like having to carry out excavations in order to bring a knowledge of undistorted Marxism to the broad masses." "The State and Revolution", VI Lenin, Penguin, 1992p, p. 49.

They forgot soon after taking control of state and its power.

My agenda? I don't subsidize the reduction of wages in the open market with welfare to illegal immigrants and their relatives.
